Fantastic life saving news with a new defibrillator at Killisick community centre! Well done to all involved!

DEFIBRILLATOR INSTALLED AT KILLISICK COMMUNITY CENTRE ❤️

I am pleased to announce that after campaigning for a life saving Defibrillator to be installed at Killisick Comminity Centre. This life saving equipment has finally been installed at the Community Centre after three years of campaigning to get one installed. This was made possible after working with the South Nottinghamshire Place-Based Partnership and Gedling Borough Council Health Development Officer.

Great work from Gwynneth and Jill, alongside Rob from Nottinghamshire County Council communities team, supporting constituency teams to better support local people with dementia and their carers.

🧠 My constituency team attended a training session yesterday along with staff from other regional MPs' offices to learn how to better support constituents and their carers living with dementia.

🙏 Thank you to South Notts Dementia Link Worker, Gwynneth Owen, and South Notts Clinical Lead, Dr Jill Langridge, for coordinating the training, to Diane Naylor and Jayne Davis from Nottinghamshire Carers’ Association, and to Rob Bryant from NCCC Neighbourhood Communities Team.
