Celebrating the Heart of WeCare Angels 💙

This week, we pause to honour the everyday heroes who bring light, love, and dignity to those they care for — our incredible carers.

At WeCare Angels, care isn’t just a task — it’s a calling. It’s in the early mornings, the quiet moments, the kind gestures, and the deep empathy shown every single day. It’s the gentle voice, the helping hand, and the unwavering presence through life’s ups and downs.

🕊 Whether supporting the elderly, individuals with disabilities, or those navigating difficult times, our carers are the angels among us — bringing strength, kindness, and genuine connection to those they serve.

💐 And today, during Carers Week, we want to shine a special light on two of our amazing team members — Nicole and Susan C. — who went above and beyond to make sure one of our clients didn’t spend his birthday alone. On their own time and at their own expense, they showed up with love and made his day truly special. 💖

👏 Well done, Nicole and Susan! Your kindness speaks volumes and reminds us all what true care looks like.

Maintaining meaningful activities can add value and quality to a person living with dementia’s life. 💙

Activities should link to hobbies or interests they enjoyed before the diagnosis. It's also a great opportunity for them to spend more social time with friends and family.

We run monthly bereavement peer support groups at📍Clifton Cornerstone and📍West Bridgford ASDA.

We also offer zoom meetings if you’re housebound or hard to get to.
