What is the typical earning potential if you study to be a colon hydrotherapist with us?

Income varies depending on where you live and what type of practice you are at. Most practitioners charge £60-£90 per session, with the potential to earn a substantial income when establishing a successful practice. A full-time practitioner can typically perform 4-6 treatments per day.

Ultimately this means you can potentially recoup your course costs quickly after qualifying!

After your treatment, we hope you'll feel amazing!

There are a few handy tips you should try to stick to when it comes to food for the days afterwards, that should help that amazing feeling stay!

🥦 Don’t overeat. Eat simply cooked food and small portions.

😁 Chew your food well.

🥒 A diet rich in vegetables, (especially dark green and leafy), salads, and a little fruit will add to the cleansing effect and help to regulate the bowels.

🥩 Don’t eat red meat (beef, lamb, pork and game) every day; white meat, fish and vegetarian meals are much easier to digest. If you are a high red meat eater and get indigestion, we would recommend that you take a digestive enzyme before meals to help break down the meat fibres.

🌾Eat only whole grains, e.g. brown rice, wholemeal flour, NOT refined e.g. white flour products and pasta. If sensitive to wheat, try spelt bread/pasta/pizza bases etc.

🥛 Avoid lots of mucous-forming foods like refined grains, dairy products, sugar and eggs.

Can Colon Hydrotherapy help with IBS?

IBS is by far the most common digestive condition with over 1/3 of adults experiencing symptoms.

It's not something any of us should be embarrassed about, and it's something that Colon Hydrotherapy treatments can certainly assist with.

Colon Hydrotherapy is a great way to clear your bowel, so that you can start to try to pinpoint problem foods. It's also a fabulous way to reduce bloating, getting rid of bad bacteria and impacted old faeces to restore some balance in your gut which can help constipation too, one of the leading symptoms of IBS.

Drop any questions in the comments, or feel free to DM us.

There's some fabulous information in this blog post about the benefits of organic food.

Did you know that a conventionally-grown apple has an average of 16 different pesticides applied at least 36 times by the time we eat it? 😳

Thanks Nurturing Nutrition with Jane Barrett 💚

BLOG POST

I just love my weekly organic box delivery scheme. I am unashamedly a food geek (goes with the territory of being a nutritionist) and get really rather excited about good quality, delicious-tasting food and I really want to share with you my 12 reasons to eat organic.

The delights in my box keep me adventurous in the kitchen, as I make up new recipes to use my seasonal delights. My supplier sends recipes each week with nutritional information about the food. I often know which farm it came from with a picture of a jolly earthy-looking farmer tending his kale/hens/apples/cows. It just makes it all more real, natural and healthy.

In box schemes, you get more obscure veg such as kohlrabi and purple carrots. I strongly believe it connects you more to your food; where it comes from, the different ways you can use it (cooked, raw). I get inspired every week by my box. Have I told you how much I love it?

So why choose organic?

A Soil Association poll shows healthy eating (55%) and avoiding chemical residues (53%) are key reasons cited by shoppers for buying organic produce. Yep, I’d agree with both of those.

Here are my 12 reasons to eat organic and why organic is a great choice for wellbeing…
