Last year, Macmillan Breast Cancer Care Nurse Amanda was nominated for the award by a patient, who said: "Amanda’s warmth, compassion and support have made an incredible difference throughout my cancer journey.

"From when I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer, Amanda was there providing answers, comfort, clarity and care."

Super star Steph

“I really enjoy working within palliative care and I work alongside an amazing team. It really is a privilege.”

Meet Steph, a palliative clinical nurse specialist.

She works both in the hospital and out in the community, providing specialist palliative care to patients with life-limiting illnesses, as well as providing support to patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team across care settings.

Not just any Level 5 Apprenticeship pass, a distinction from the Chartered Management Institute! Paul joined our team as an apprentice administrator starting off answering phones to patients, their families & professionals. Over the years he has developed his skills and now manages our amazing team of administrators who keep our show on the road.

We’re so lucky to have our very own Green Team — easily spotted in their signature colour and known for their big hearts — supporting patients, families, and loved ones at their greatest time of need. 💚

Each of our Occupational Therapists found their way into this career through personal experience or inspiration from others in practice — but they’re united by one shared passion: helping people live as well as they can, for as long as they can.

✨ Complex discharge planning
✨ Advance care planning

While you’re there, we’d definitely recommend:
