Transcript from the clip:

Hello, my name is Craig, and I am a Wellbeing Coach at SDCA. I’d like to inform you of our next Health Group topic – menopause. We’ve invited a professional to come and give a presentation to talk about menopause, what it is and what the symptoms are.

We have booked a BSL interpreter for the event, meaning it is accessible to everyone, and anyone can ask questions and receive answers. Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Deafblind people are welcome to come along.

Also, to inform you, both men and women are welcome to join the session. If you’re wondering why it is open to men as well when only women experience menopause, I shall explain. If men recognise symptoms in their girlfriend, wife, partner, friend or family member and feel something is not quite right, having attended the menopause presentation and learned about it, they will know where to go to help that person get support.

The group is on the 11th March from 2pm to 4pm at West Bromwich Community Centre. If you want more information or clarification on anything, you are welcome to contact me via text or email. My contact details are on the poster. Thank you.
