The Bergamot Tree Yoga

The Bergamot Tree Yoga Stretch and strengthen, bring freedom to the body and calm the mind. My yoga journey began in my twenties when I started to practice Vinyasa Flow yoga.

I instantly began to feel stronger
and healthier on a physical level plus more relaxed and content on a mental level. This led to me realising that I had found a permanent place for yoga in my life and now I wish to share the passion I feel and the benefits I have gained with my students. I am a fully qualified 200-hour Yoga Alliance Vinyasa Flow teacher. My training has given me the skills to tea

ch a range of yoga practices to people of all levels and abilities. My own learning develops as I continue to take workshops and attend regular classes, this benefits my personal practice as well as helps me evolve as a teacher. My classes include postures (asanas), breath work (pranayama) and relaxation – I feel that this provides a well-balanced lesson. I believe in fitting the practice to the student (not fitting the student to the practice) and therefore will offer modifications or props where necessary to make sure the postures are safe and comfortable for the individual. People often say that they are not flexible enough to do yoga. The truth is that the only flexibility you need is in the
mind.

Letting go of attachments and embracing the present moment. There comes a time when you have to let everything fall apart. When you have to stop fighting for a life you have outgrown and trust you will be OK.
Embrace the fear, embrace the uncertainty. The dark tunnel of change leads to the light of possibilities, but firstly you have to go through it.
The power is sitting back and observing everything.
Breathe and allow things to pass.
Remember. The goal of yoga is to create space where you were once stuck.
Come to your yoga mat to feel, not to accomplish.
Shift your focus and your heart will grow.

I use a Bergamot essential oil of course too!🍊 ❀️

When we are breathing in scuba diving, it is essential to just breathe in and out as normal. The problem is that sometimes we forget what normal breathing is! A natural breath is a deep breath, also called a diaphragmatic breath. When we are stressed, our breath becomes more shallow.
This type of natural breath is great for buoyancy control and can definitely save you some air in your tank so you can enjoy a longer dive as when we are relaxed, we use less air πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ€ΏπŸ¦ˆ

To my Yogis! (Not only the ones in this photo!)

Just wanted to say...I'm humbled by the fact that you allow me to guide you through your practice.

I guess I'm trying to say that my absolute favourite thing about my yoga classes is YOU as you are the true teachers.

I can not teach you yoga though...Unity withing your mind, soul, and body. I only hold that space for you and guide your body and breath to that point where they meet...

You are my teachers and your own.

So this is a big thank you to everyone who has joined me even only once.

Yoga has truly saved my life many times, I'm still learning and growing myself.

Everytime you step on your mat just ask yourself why you are here...Everytime you catch yourself looking around the class, ask yourself how it serves you...Worries about doing things right all the time take you away from yourself.

But most importantly...Enjoy yourself as life is short indeed..! Embrace your practice as your own. Take your practice with you when you leave the class. Try other classes too..Yoga is boundless!
