WE ARE SUPPORTING ANTIMICROBIAL RESISTANCE (AMR) AWARENESS WEEK
What IS AMR?
When bacteria, viruses and fungi (infections) no longer respond to antibiotics.
It weakens our fight against common infections and in the future means we won’t have as many antibiotics for even simple infections like chest or skin infections.
What can you do?
Wash your hands, cover your mouth when coughing and stay away from
others when you’re unwell, to reduce the chance of infections.
Only use antibiotics if prescribed by a health care professional. Finish the full course and never take leftover antibiotics. Don’t share medications with others.
Remember that common viruses like flu or a cold don’t respond to antibiotics so give it time and see the pharmacist first.
As GPs we only prescribe antibiotics when you need them.
Come visit our display in the waiting room.
Let’s work together to protect our future and ensure that antibiotics are effective for generations to come.

Farewell to our fantastic office manager Laura who leaves us on Friday 🌺
Laura has been part of our team since 2019 and is off to pastures new. We’re going to miss her!
Laura wanted to say goodbye to all the wonderful patients she’s met. She’s loved being part of this community and has really enjoyed working with our fantastic practice team. Best of luck Laura with your new role ❤️

Exciting Announcement!
We have listened to the feedback from our patients who have let us know that its difficult to get an appointment at 8am. To try and alleviate this, we go live tomorrow morning with our new accessible triage system.

On Sunday 7th September at 3pm, all mobiles will emit a loud siren like sound and vibrate.

This test is for an emergency alert system but may put some survivors of domestic abuse at risk by revealing secret phones.
