Beliefs sit in two camps.
They either help you or they hinder you. That’s it.
Some of your beliefs are guiding you, supporting you, and have helped you get to where you are today. They’re expansive — they remind you that you can deal with challenges and that you already have the resources you need.
Then there are those sneaky beliefs — the ones running in the background that you don’t even notice. These are the beliefs that keep you stuck, small, frustrated, or fearful.
💡 Here’s an easy way to figure out which is which:
Take a belief you’ve held for a long time and ask yourself:
Is this belief helping me or hindering me?
Is it serving me or limiting me?
Is it helping me grow or keeping me small?
✨ Example of an expansive belief:
“I can deal with anything that comes my way.”
This tells you that you’re capable and resourceful.
🚫 Example of a limiting belief:
“I need to feel super confident before I try something new.”
This one stops you before you’ve even started.
The key? Check your beliefs. Swap the ones that keep you small for the ones that expand your life.
