Using the poles is a great way to support our balance. If you feel unsteady, they offer reassurance. They offer the opportunity to walk on more uneven ground which is great for our feet. And the feedback through the poles of where the ground is really helpful for our sense of proprioception - where our body is in space

I wasn't sure about sending out todays email ! I normally try to be upbeat, but such is my frustration at the challenges women face on a regular basis, that I wanted to do my little bit to raise awareness of some of these - sadly this only touches the surface.

And I also want to thank all the amazing women I have the pleasure of knowing - you know who you are ! xx
