* Autistic people
* Carers

🗣 NHS England wants to know:

What is good about waiting for NHS treatment?
What is hard?
How can it be better?

NHS England is working to make waiting easier.

The survey is short and there is an Easy Read Version.

FIRST AID TRAINING! 🚑

In partnership with British Red Cross, we are hosting a free First Aid Training session for all unpaid carers registered with WIRED!👏

Our next session is:
📅 Friday 22dn August
⏰ 11am-1pm
📍 The Stein Centre, St Catherines Health Centre, Derby Road, Birkenhead, CH42 7HB

The session will be covering;
🔴Basic first aid
🔴Choking
🔴 Strokes
🔴 Unresponsive (Breathing and not breathing)
🔴 Heart attacks
🔴 Quick responses

❗ The workshop is not accredited, but it is a free and simple way to improve first aid knowledge and to build confidence

Have your say on Wirral’s Sensory Services

If you’ve not already completed the Sensory Services survey there’s still time! The deadline has been extended to 5pm on 10th August 2025.
Wirral's Occupational Therapy (OT) Service would love to know what you think about the current Sensory Service provision in Wirral.

The team are currently undertaking a new project to improve the Sensory Service in our area. They want to hear from both parents/carers and practitioners to better understand the support needs for children and young people with sensory differences/needs in Wirral. This will help them understand how occupational therapy can best meet these needs. Your feedback will help create a better service that works for everyone.
