So your journey starts with Swedish Massage, an 8 month diploma course. This course wets your appetite for things to come. Not only will you learn all the massage strokes, and how to apply them to each part of the body, but you will also learn basic assessment of each joint, and the anatomy and physiology associated with this. How do I become an Orthopaedic Therapist?

To become an orthopaedic therapist you need to complete a series of 4 Diplomas:
Swedish Massage (8 months)
Remedial and Sports Massage (9 months)
Advanced Remedial Massage (11 months)
Orthopaedic Massage and Manipulation (12 months)
