Squirrel Eco Couriers was born out of the covid 19 horrible times of our life's, we purchased the bike on a whim, with funds from government grants, we delivered parcels in Newtown, when our pub was forced to close, we had lots of fun delivering various offerings to the beach, here on Mersea.
We've decided to call time on Squirrel, our bike has died, we have all the wood cut to size, to rebuild the box,The battery will not accept a charge , so will need around £300 spent. The businesses we delivered for, no longer are trading. So we are out . Free to a good home , is our bike, if you fancy a project.

Olive has gone missing. She is an old lady, in the 10 years we had a pub she never ventured outside our boundary.
Back home on Mersea, this is the SECOND time she's gone , last time was 3 months !
Our dog Milly has gone mental outside a property in Church Rd. Something she has never done before.
I strongly suspect someone has taken her again !!
She is a well loved, well fed member of our family and we'd like her back before fireworks.
If I find she's been cat napped, there will be fireworks, I will come through your door and I won't be knocking !

Well what a Year. We started this at the start of the pandemic. Delivering parcels around Newtown as our pub was forced to close. TWICE.
We've had a lot of fun since here back home on Mersea. Many deliveries around our beautiful Island, this for us is not a business, its a bit of fun and exercise and to spread a bit of happiness. We make next to no money out of it, it's more about supporting our community. Wo bought the bike with cash from the Government. Given to us, because we couldn't trade. Well that's been paid back tenfold with what we've got up to in the last three years. We'll be back up and running in the spring after we've rebuilt the rotten box on the front of the bike. In the meantime, we continue delivering your Meds for my employers Alliance Health care.
We wish you all a very happy and peaceful Christmas and we will see you at the beach ,with revamped wheels when the bloody sun comes out 😆 x PS. I'm really trying to be polite with people parking in MY loading area at Mersea Boots. JUST DONT. It's your meds I'm trying to deliver. Many of which are controlled drugs,and or temperature controlled. keep Clear Please. If your Dr prescribes, I bring it.

Exciting times, finally found the part in Holland, from the manufacturer. We're gonna be back up and running on Tuesday. Hallelujah 🙌
