Thank God for 2025.
I have become a home owner (with my wife) 🏡
Traveled 7 countries in the year (6 in 8 day - 7 cities) 🌏
Started learning new languages (and words in a few others) 💬
Continued to build my vocabulary in another language (Yoruba) 🗨
Read the whole Bible cover to cover in a year ✝️
Seen breakthroughs in various areas of my life 🏅
Built strength and skill I didn't have before
Worked out every week of the year no matter what happened (skill or strength training) 🏋‍♂️
Most importantly grew closer to God 🙏

I'm not saying everything went well or as I planned, there were ups and downs but through it all God has been good to me.

Finally, I can't wait to see how my 2026 goes as I know there is more God has in store for me.

Scriptures:
Job 8:7 NLT
And though you started with little, you will end with much.

Jeremiah 29:11 NLT
For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. #2025

2023’s Weight Loss was a something I kept quite personal, and took it that way too. I had to do a complete assessment of everything, tbh I had to do it more than once. I had to beat doubt, comfort and old habits that needed to change.

Being honest, when I had some bad habits that finally caught up with me. I had to stop taking my health for granted, and really how close I teetered to the edge. I went from a BMI of 29.4, very close to the obese classification, where I started to feel negative health symptoms to a BMI of 24.1 at my lightest. I managed to walk away from car accidents on busy roads, being pushed on to a fast moving roundabout.

It was not the easiest journey or year to be honest, there was lots of ups and downs, but I stayed intentional and disciplined not letting anything stop me getting off the unnecessary weight. I did bodyweight work at home or on holiday when I couldn’t go to the gym. I try to not sit too long in self-pity when I could have stayed there but got back up.

Now if I said I did it all by myself that wouldn’t be 100% true. I did get support from some people around me which I am grateful for.

Post Workout, Post Christmas Physique Update
Weight: 89.9KG

I know I haven’t post a physique update in a while but this is what I look like after a fun Christmas

Now wondering what I’ll look like after new Years.

All in all, I’ve kept a decent physique after cutting down from a High of 96.5KG down to 88.5KG. I did lose a little bit of strength but it was worth it as I more than made up for it in improvements in athleticism & cardiovascular ability. Plus, my physique improved so the slight loss in strength was worth it.

Anyways, Happy New Years everyone, may it be a great 2023

🚨 Volume PR 🚨
95KG Bench

It was very nice to start off my birthday with a volume PR on bench. I hit 95KG for 6 reps on bench & it was on my last set as well 🏋🏽‍♂️
Super buzzed to have hit that today, make today just that little bit more special

It taken years of elbow grease (hard work), occasional injuries or training around them, and change form to maximise performance & minimise risk of injury. So thinking of that makes this PR even sweeter.

13th Jan
Weight: 83KG
This week was spent finding my calorie maintenance (the amount of energy or calories needed to maintain my weight). This involved complete the calculation to find out my estimated maintenance calories, then monitoring my weight to see if it would stay stable at the current weight. And as it did, I found my calorie maintenance.

So after I kind of let myself have fun & eat freely for Christmas, and a bit more longer, if I’m being honest with myself and you. This is my new starting point for a weight/fat loss phase.

6.7.2021 - 10.7.2021
At this point, I’m starting to look a bit too chunky for my personal liking in these pictures. My strength did increase however my athleticism started to suffering, not significantly but enough for me to notice I need to drop a little weight & more specifically some fat. Energy levels were mainly good with a bit of lethargy but that could have been cause by the lack of sleep and the overeating 😩

This is also the first week of a 11 day period of back to back workout days

I weighed ~82.8KG in these photos

27.6.2021 - 3.7.2021

After a week of feeling little lethargic from being a bit slim for me, not feeling as strong as I did with just a bit more weight (ie. the weight I was this week), I decided to eat a bit more a have a little more body fat so I could be a bit strong, fitter and more energetic. Being honest I went a bit far over at the end of the week when it came to food as I was celebrating 🥳

122.5KG Clean Pulls

It took a bit of a while but I have started to build up to a more respectable weight on the bar, with decent technique (still room for improvement). So it nice to see some progress even it has been slow and steady.

20.6.2021 - 26.6.2021
This week I looked good but felt a little too lethargic than I liked. I was still able to do everything I want/need to do but had to work a bit harder to not focus on eating, which is usually made harder by the fact I’m a 😅

I weighed ~80.7KG in these photos
