✨ A fantastic evening at Nuffield Health Haywards Heath Hospital! ✨

We were delighted to welcome 25 attendees to our Hip & Knee Patient Information Event last night with Professor Benedict Rogers, Consultant Orthopaedic Hip & Knee Surgeon.

It was a brilliant session with lots of thoughtful questions and plenty of discussion. Professor Rogers covered everything from symptoms and diagnosis to treatment options and recovery, and our guests left with plenty of helpful takeaways to support them in making informed decisions about their next steps.

👂🎵 Tinnitus Awareness Week 2026

This year’s campaign highlights the link between music, hearing health and tinnitus, reminding music lovers to protect their hearing and be aware of noise exposure.

Our ENT Consultant Mr Robert Grounds — a classically trained musician who had major ear surgery as a child — understands how tinnitus can affect day‑to‑day life and the joy of music.
He shares this message for the week:

🌟 Meet Jamie — Our Brilliant Nurse Taking on the Brighton Half Marathon! 🌟

We’re so proud of Jamie, one of our amazing Senior Staff Nurses here at Nuffield Health Haywards Heath Hospital. For seven years he’s brought positivity, kindness and his signature smile to every shift. We’re so lucky to have him! 💚

On 1st March 2026, Jamie will be stepping out of his comfort zone and taking on the Brighton Half Marathon! 🏃‍♂️✨ Running isn’t something he’s always done, but he’s determined to take on this challenge — and all for a great cause.

Jamie is raising money for The Sussex Beacon, a charity providing specialist support for people living with HIV. His fundraising will help them expand their vital services and reach even more people who need their care. 💛

He’s already raised over £400 — let’s help him go even further!

🎉 Thank you to everyone who joined us last night!

We were delighted to welcome so many attendees to “Hernias, Haemorrhoids and Stool Gazing” with Mr Parv Sains, Consultant General & Colorectal Surgeon at Nuffield Health Haywards Heath Hospital.

It was a highly engaging and interactive evening, with fantastic questions throughout.

Mr Sains explored a wide range of topics including hernia symptoms, treatment options, haemorrhoids, bowel health, and the importance of recognising any concerning changes early.

🎗️ January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month! 🎗️

Cervical cancer often has no symptoms in the early stages, which is why cervical screening is so important. Screening can detect changes long before anything feels wrong.

Screening appointments are arranged through your GP practice, and we strongly encourage everyone to attend when invited. It remains one of the most effective ways to help prevent cervical cancer.

At Nuffield Health Haywards Heath Hospital, our Consultant Gynaecologists can also provide smear tests, and we’re here to support you with any onward care you may need. This includes colposcopy, specialist consultations and treatment if further investigation is recommended.

Cervical cancer could even become the first cancer ever eliminated if the world reaches the 90–70–90 targets:
