This week we fitted a Brig-Ayd Controls Ltd Mobility in Motion Twin Flip Folding Left Foot Accelerator on a Hyundai INSTER, for the first time. This job was for a Motability Scheme customer.

We've just completed this Elap E-Motion X swivel seat on a Vauxhall Vivaro Life BEV for Eden Motor Group on the Motability Scheme

The swivel seat is programmable and lowers to enable a customer to easily access the vehicle. The seat is compatible with both front passenger and driver's side - subject to the vehicle ordered.

At Ergomobility we’re delighted to be one of the founding members of the Vehicle Adaptation Installers Association (VAIA). VAIA members commit to higher standards of training to improve the quality of adaptation fitting and the experience for our customers.

VAIA also works closely with Adaptation Manufacturers, Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle Manufacturers, Motability Scheme and Driving Mobility, representing the national network of installers.

With over 40 members, covering around three quarters of all adaptation installations in the UK, the association has grown massively in the past 12 months.

Our senior engineer Mark recently adapted this customer’s Ford UK Mustang Mach E with two Autochair transfer plates, some Jeff Gosling Ltd Hand controls and a Lodgesons 7-way mini keypad. It was a pleasure to deal with the customer and the team TrustFord in Staines.

Our mobile engineers will travel across the south east to help customers with their car adaptation requirements, for both private and Motability Scheme clients.

We've recently adapted a Motability Scheme customer's vehicle with a Perspex Screen. The screen is designed to provide protection for the driver, whilst maintaining full comfort for the passenger in the rear seats.

At Ergomobility we design bespoke screens, after a mandatory assessment and review with the customer, to ensure the solution works for everyone in the car.
