CC Stars (Confident Children: Strong through Attachment, Awareness, Resilience, and Self-Love) combines counselling techniques with the magic of dance, drama, and singing to help your young person:

Thursday Feelings!

How are you and your child/children feeling this morning?

Sometimes we falter to 'fine' 'good' 'not great' or 'down' without fully sitting with ourselves to really connect with how we feel.

Children in particular can be unsure of how they feel- often resulting with a 'I don't know' especially teenagers.

Check out this emotions wheel when you get a chance as it really helps to identify exactly which emotion you are feeling.

Hit the save and use this when talking with your child about how they are feeling.

Happy Sunday Evening!

I wanted to introduce myself and put a face to CC STARS 🌟

My name is Andrea and I am a BACP counsellor which essentially means that I follow an ethical framework when working therapeutically with my clients.

I have worked with children and young people for many years including as a teacher of dance, drama and musical
theatre. I combine my experience of the performing arts and creative arts to enhance my clients journey with themselves whilst in session.

I have a BA Hons in Integrative Counselling and various mental health and well-being certificates.

I am a single mother of two teenage boys and live with them, my dog Dusty, two tortoises and many fish 😊

I love the colour green, spending time in the garden and finding value in the smaller things.
