Nuthatch Retreats

Nuthatch Retreats Using nature connection to support people’s wellbeing.

Nuthatch Retreats are a nature connect organisation set up by mental health and suicide prevention consultant Neil Peters. Using nature to support people’s wellbeing, we create opportunities for people to get outside, spend time in nature and take part in activities such as forest bathing, mindfulness, bird watching and walk and talks.

South East London Mind is launching a free 12‑week cricket‑inspired wellbeing programme, offering fun, low‑pressure sessions where people can get active, connect with others, and take part in relaxed conversations about mental health.

The programme is delivered in partnership with Surrey Cricket and is part of a national Mind initiative inspired by the legacy of Graham Thorpe MBE.

Sessions include gentle cricket activities, social connection, and supportive discussions to help build confidence and boost wellbeing.

Weekly sessions will run at The Oval from 1 April to 17 June, 5:30–7:30pm.

🙋‍♂️ Men of Merton!

London Borough of Merton’s Public Health team are working on strengthening Merton’s response to men’s mental health, wellbeing and su***de prevention.

I'm undertaking a rapid review of existing mental health and wellbeing support in the community for men in Merton, including a mapping exercise, undertaking stakeholder conversations to gather system‑level insights and speaking to services and grassroots organisations.

We'd be grateful for your local insights as a local man.

Please note that the information captured will be shared with London Borough of Merton.

🙋Our next Men's Campfire is back, this Thursday 26th March.

👉7pm
👉Frylands Scout Centre.

🔥A supportive social space, we often do a woodland activity, have a campfire supper (included in price) and a chat to hang out by the fire.
If you want to chat or get anything of your chest you can, but equally you can just connect and hang out.
