HW Facilities are proud to be finalists in the Kimberly-Clark Professional™ Golden Service Awards 2026 with the following entries:

Office areas over 30,000 m2 at Dyson UK, Malmesbury (sponsored by Facilities Management Journal) as part of our ongoing CBRE relationship. For all or part of a building.

Judges will be looking for high standards of cleanliness, a good understanding of the site, teamwork, good management skills, difficulties faced and how they have been overcome, effectiveness of staff and good communication with clients

An understanding of how the service impacts the users of the building is also important.

Cleaning Team of the Year at Dyson UK, Malmesbury (sponsored by OdorBac) as part of our ongoing CBRE relationship. For excellent performance by a cleaning team.

The judges will be looking for a cleaning team who have a thorough understanding and knowledge of the site and show outstanding dedication to the customer

They will also be looking for a cleaning team who communicate together clearly and have ideally undertaken relevant training programmes

Cleaning Operative of the Year: Emma Hatcher at Dyson UK, Malmesbury (sponsored by Cleaning Matters) as part of our ongoing CBRE relationship. For excellent performance by a cleaning operative.

The judges will be looking for a cleaning operative who has a thorough understanding and knowledge of the site and shows outstanding dedication to the customer

They will also be looking for a cleaning operative with clear communication skills who has ideally undertaken relevant training programmes

The winners will be announced at The Golden Service Awards ceremony which will take place on Thursday, 21 May 2026 at the London Hilton on Park Lane.

We are very proud of our teams who have made our selection as finalists possible, and are looking forward to the big day!

Our Key Accounts team has gone above and beyond to embrace the Christmas spirit this year. It’s truly inspiring to see everyone come together, setting aside the challenges and pressures we’ve faced throughout the year, and focusing on joy, celebration, and camaraderie.

The creativity, energy, and teamwork on display highlight the dedication and positivity that make our team so strong , reflecting not only our professionalism but also the wonderful spirit of our team.

Moments like this remind us of the importance of unity, connection, positivity, and celebrating our successes, big or small.

A big well done to everyone involved for making this festive season truly memorable.

We are very proud to say well done, Irina Serseniuc!

Irina has been awarded her BICSc assessor role, and since March 2025 has participated in the training and assessment of 120 colleagues.

This is such a great achievement; we look forward to working on building our HW training, identifying gaps and coming up with training solutions. It is such an important step for our staff and for the company.

🌿✨ We’re proud to share that HW Facilities collected two Green Apple Awards at the House of Lords this week!

🏆 Gold Award – for our Sustainability Brochure, created to guide and inspire clients with environmentally friendly options.
🥈 Silver Award – for our Gloves for Good project, which has already saved thousands of gloves from landfill through recycling.

A huge thank you to the incredible HW team for their dedication and innovation in driving sustainability forward. 💚

We’re proud to share that three of our fantastic team members - Simon, Irina, and Jan - have successfully passed their BICSc Assessor re-accreditation!

This achievement means they continue to be certified to assess HW staff against BICSc standards, helping us maintain excellence in service delivery and uphold the highest professional benchmarks.

Even more importantly, it strengthens our ability to train our wider team to the BICSc standard — embedding best practice, consistency, and confidence across our operations.

Congratulations to Simon, Irina, and Jan — your continued commitment makes a real difference!

Today is Thank Your Cleaner Day!

Cleaning is one of the most important industries in the world, carried out by skilled hard working cleaning staff. Cleaning is a physically demanding job, and we are so grateful for the hard work our amazing team do, often behind the scenes.

HW Facilities recognises and appreciates the sustained, dedicated work our cleaning staff perform every day. We’d be unable to carry out our role without them.

As a way of marking Thank Your Cleaner Day, we have presented some personalised ‘Thank you’ Cadbury chocolate bars. We hope that they help show our appreciation to all of our cleaning team.

Huge congratulations to Natan Blachuta for being named Runner-Up for Cleaning Operative of the Year at the annual BICSc Awards!

Natan’s part of the HW team working with CBRE on the Experian contract in Nottingham, this recognition is so well deserved and a great reflection of the hard work and pride Natan brings to the job every day. Well done, Natan. Great to see your hard work being recognised!

We are excited to announce that HW Facilities have been recognised with TWO International Green Apple Environment Awards for outstanding environmental achievements. These awards not only celebrate the importance of our environmental projects but also recognise us as a leader in sustainability.
