Min 3 years qualified, you will receive in-service training, mentoring, and a healthy CPD budget. Established for 14 years, our clinics have a great reputation within the local community, with Consultant referrals, PMI work and self funded patients. Flexible hours, lots of support and a chance to really develop as an MSK practitioner. We can support you to get acupuncture and Pilates qualifications, develop your communication and assessment skills and become a truly great Physio!

Many thanks for your expertise in getting my right knee sorted out. I was anxious that it might not be OK for some winter hillwalking in the Cairngorms but I was out for a full week and so far things are OK. The exercises are great and have helped immensely so many thanks indeed to both of you.

Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS)

CTS is caused due to compression of the median nerve through the carpal tunnel, which is found in the wrist.

Symptoms normally come on gradually, usually occurring during the night, and are often caused by repetitive movements, such as typing. People can be more likely to experience CTS during pregnancy, or if they already have arthritis or thyroid disease.

Symptoms include; numbness, pain, pins and needles, all within the thumb side of the ring finger, middle finger and index finger. Symptoms may radiate up the arm and over time may weaken the grip strength.

Potential treatments can range from physiotherapy, including, stretching, strengthening and manual technique’s, steroid injections, splinting or surgical release of the transverse carpal ligament.

Do you have tennis elbow but don’t play tennis?

Tennis elbow can be caused by repetitive tasks, such as lifting, twisting, vibrations or typing. It will typically present as a gradual, non traumatic onset of pain along the lateral aspect of the elbow.

Only about 5% of people suffering from lateral epicondylitis actually play tennis.

Treatment options can include;
1. exercise prescription
2. Taping
3. Manual therapy techniques
4. Acupuncture
5. Steroid injections
6. Shockwave
