Scalp Analysis: Before & After Japanese Head Spa

Before beginning a Japanese head spa treatment, I always start with a detailed scalp analysis.
In the first image, you can see the buildup on the scalp and how the follicles are slightly congested — this can contribute to itchiness, dryness, and even hair thinning over time.

I thought it was time to reintroduce myself so all of you—especially those who are new here—know the face and story behind Heavenly Touch.

I'm Katie, 36 years old, and blessed with a beautiful family that includes my four amazing daughters, my wonderfully supportive partner, and a circle of friends and family that I’m incredibly grateful for.

Before launching Heavenly Touch, I worked as a mental health support worker for eight years. While it could be challenging, I loved making a difference in people’s lives. I also provide respite care for a young lady with additional needs, which has been a part of my life for the last decade. She holds a special place in my heart, and we’ve created so many cherished memories together.

The idea for Heavenly Touch came from my desire to emphasize the importance of self-care. Taking time for yourself is so essential to mental well-being, and I wanted to create a space where people can feel rejuvenated and recharged.

After 18 months of running Heavenly Touch, I am genuinely loving every moment in the salon. It has been such a joy meeting both new and familiar faces, and helping clients unwind and find balance.
