🍀💚 Happy St Patrick’s Day everyone! 💚🍀

In preparation for our St Paddy’s Day party, we got creative and made our very own leprechaun hats 🎩✨🌈 Safe to say there was plenty of laughter, fun, and a touch of Irish magic in the air! ☘️💫

We had such a lovely time getting into the spirit of the day, we’re now all set and feeling lucky! 🍀💚

🌷🌼 Hello Spring! 🌼🌷

With the brighter days and sunshine returning, we want to give a big shout out to our wonderful Gardening Club who have been busy working their magic in the garden. 🌱🪴 Their hard work has paid off as our garden is now looking absolutely spectacular, filled with beautiful flowers and lovely colours everywhere you look! 🌸🌺🌻

It’s so lovely for our residents to spend time outside enjoying the fresh air, the blooms and all the signs that spring is finally here. ☀️🌷

A huge thank you to everyone involved for helping make our garden such a beautiful and welcoming space for all to enjoy. 💚🌼

🎤✨ We loved welcoming back Tara, our fabulous 1950’s queen, who treated us to a brilliant 1960’s themed set and outfit this time! 💃🕺 Our entertainers really do go the extra mile to make every session special and full of fun for our residents. 🎶🎵

We would also like to give a very warm welcome to Julie who has officially joined our wonderful Activities Team! 💜👏 She’s already bringing so much enthusiasm, positivity and brilliant ideas. We’re so excited to have her with us wearing our trademark purple uniform and helping create even more lovely moments for our residents. 💜🌟

Last week we were been busy with some Easter card making during one of our craft sessions. 🐣✂️🎨 It’s such a lovely, mindful activity and something we can easily take to residents’ rooms too, so everyone can get involved and enjoy a bit of creativity. 🌷💌

When Resident Pete mentioned he’d been craving rock cakes, our Cookery Club didn’t waste a second! 👨‍🍳💭✨

With a spare hour on a Monday afternoon, we rolled up our sleeves, got the mixing bowls out and made his wishes come true 🥣🧁💛 The smell alone was enough to make everyone smile! 😍

Now that’s what person-centred care is all about listening, caring and turning the little things into special moments 💙🍰

A couple of weeks ago we had the loveliest afternoon with Le’arna joining us for a magical sing-along session 🎶✨

From classic film favourites to toe-tapping tunes we all know and love, the lounge was full of smiles, laughter and plenty of enthusiastic singing along 🎤🎬💛

Thank you, Le’arna, for bringing the energy, the joy and the movie magic to our home 🌟🎵 We can’t wait to do it all again! 💫💕

What a truly wonderful time we all had at our Valentine’s Party yesterday 💖🌹✨

We’re so proud to share that together we raised an amazing £140.65 from our raffle for Dottie’s Little Hedgehog Hospital in Herne Bay 🦔🏡 a cause very close to our hearts as big supporters of our precious local wildlife 🌿💚

We were also treated to a fantastic performance from the one and only Scott Elvis 🎤🎶 who had everyone smiling, singing and dancing along! And of course, our kitchen put on a delicious buffet inspired by Elvis’s favourite foods 🍔🥪🍰 fit for the King himself 👑

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, shared the love, and helped make the day so special. Your kindness, generosity and community spirit mean the world 💕🤗
