Last week we said a sad farewell to Javed, who after a long 20 years of being a part of the team as one of our Registered Nurses at St Michaels is retiring. Javed, a huge thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to our home and residents. You will be deeply missed by all of the staff and residents at St Michaels, we are all wishing you a very happy retirement🫶

Wow! What a brilliant afternoon and a fantastic turnout we had on Friday for our Annual Summer Party & Community Open Afternoon 🥳

We would just like to say a massive thank you to:
- The Moments Duo for keeping us entertained throughout the afternoon 🎤🎸
- William for being our videographer for the day (keep an eye on our page & Website for our professional videos in due course) 🎥
- Millie & Nicky for their hard work in planning yet again, such an enjoyable and successful afternoon 👏❤️
- Julie for your help throughout the day and for taking our Name the Dog around (we raised a total of £100 which will go towards our residents fund) 🐶
- Peter for being a top chef on the BBQ 🍔
- To our local community who came to join us, including previous residents & families of St Michaels 🫶
- To our residents and their families for joining us and making our summer parties a huge success each year 🥰🥂
- Finally to each and every staff member from the HCA`s, to the maintenance team, for their hard work throughout the whole day, our parties would not be able to go ahead without you all! 👏

Please be aware that our monthly coffee morning that falls this Friday has been cancelled, as we will be getting everything ready for our Summer Party in the afternoon. 🥳🎉
We hope that you will join us at our Summer party to enjoy a cold beverage & burger from the BBQ instead of coffee & cake this month! 🍔🥂

Then please come along to our Summer Party & Open Afternoon on Friday 25th July between 2pm & 4pm!
We will be opening our doors to the local community, where we will be offering the opportunity to take a tour around our beautiful home and to join us for a bite to eat from our BBQ, all whilst enjoying live music from The Moments Duo! 🎉🥳
