"The Quiet Fall"
The leaves drift down in soft descent,
A golden hush, a time well spent.
The earth prepares to rest awhile,
With tender grace, a solemn smile.
The trees release, yet stand so tall-
A gentle echo in the fall.
So too do lives, once bright and near,
Now whispered close, still ever dear.
In every leaf, a memory stays,
A life well-lived, through passing days.
Though seasons turn, love lingers on,
A quiet light when night has drawn.
So let the autumn winds enfold,
The stories that our hearts still hold.
For endings come, yet not alone-
They lead us gently, guide us home.
I think this poem is perfect to reflect the stunning window display our funeral arranger Debbie has created for us at Maskell and Uden , don't you?
