Avante Care & Support is proud to announce that Wain House has officially opened its doors welcoming its first residents today.

Located in Westgate-on-Sea, Wain House Care Home represents a significant milestone for Avante Care & Support, setting a new benchmark for quality, comfort and personalised care in Thanet.

Harold and Ruth are childhood sweethearts who first met at just 13 years old. Having spent a lifetime side by side, they knew they did not want to be apart when they began to need additional care and support. After careful consideration, they chose Wain House as the place to begin their next chapter together.

Joined by their loved ones, Harold and Ruth were warmly welcomed today by the team at Wain House as they settled into their new en-suite rooms, thoughtfully personalised with treasured photographs and familiar belongings. There were smiles, laughter and a few happy tears as staff ensured the couple felt at ease from the very first moment they arrived.

Wain House provides nursing, residential and dementia care, offering personalised support tailored to individual needs within a vibrant, purpose-built setting.

As the first residents settle into their new home today, Avante Care & Support celebrates not just the opening of Wain House, but the beginning of a thriving new community. Admissions are now open, and the team warmly welcomes enquiries from individuals and families seeking high-quality care in an exceptional coastal setting.
