Therapists need treatments too… 😅

I’ve just had the most INCREDIBLE Thai massage with Aurea at 7 Buddhas Massage Centre in Paphos and, my goodness, I needed that!

After 6 months of working my body hard giving to everybody else, this holiday — and this massage — came at the perfect time 💜

I’ve always wanted to try Thai massage as it really is my kind of massage, and it absolutely did not disappoint.

Very deep pressure, amazing stretches and a few very satisfying back cracks. They’re also not shy at working the glutes, and that felt MEGA 🤪

I won’t lie… parts of it were eye watering 😅 but in the best possible way. I went from feeling stiff as a board to walking out like a floppy pretzel.

Also… don’t be fooled by Aurea’s tiny size. The strength she had was unreal 💪

It just reinforces again what an incredible gift massage is for our bodies, especially when it’s been begging for some release. I may even get another one before I leave to really thank it! 🙏😃

Believe it or not… a true full body massage is very hard to do properly in 60 minutes.

I know lots of places offer it.
I know it sounds appealing…“everything done in an hour”.

But here’s the truth…

The body doesn’t soften according to the clock.

If you’ve not had a massage for months (or years)…
If you’re holding chronic stress…
If your shoulders have been up by your ears since 2019… (like a LOT of my clients).

You cannot meaningfully work the entire body thoroughly in 60 minutes.

You can skim it.
You can move through it.
You can tick the boxes.

But to really allow tissue to soften.
To let your nervous system settle.
To stay with an area until it actually releases.

That takes time.

I don’t like rushing from body part to body part just because the clock says so.

When I’m working, I stay where your body needs me.
And I move on when it feels complete, not when it’s convenient.

And another important thing…

One session cannot “fix” years of tension.
Massage isn’t magic. It’s progressive, layered work.

It’s about consistency.
It’s about depth.
It’s about meeting your body where it is.

That’s why I’ll often suggest focusing on upper or lower body properly, rather than trying to squeeze everything in.

Because I’d rather you leave feeling deeply worked and properly met,
than slightly oiled and slightly rushed.

Depth comes from intention.
Not speed.

I get so many comments about how much you love this simple but effective release for your lower back… so many sighs and big exhale moments and you telling me “that feels sooooo good” 😮‍💨✨

Here I’m applying slow, controlled pressure through the lower lumbar area to create a gentle decompression effect.

By gradually sinking in and using my body weight (not force), I’m encouraging the muscles to soften and switch off.

It helps relieve that heavy, compressed feeling in the lower spine that builds up from hours of sitting, lifting, stress and general life load.

It provides me with a lovely stretch too 🤗🩷

Be honest… who loves this part of their treatment? 🙋‍♀️

There’s something very satisfying about working with wood tools on tight, stubborn legs 👌🏼

Maderotherapy allows me to get right into the fascia — that connective tissue that can become sticky, restricted and sluggish — especially if you’re desk-based, hormonal, stressed or just holding onto fluid.

These tools help to:

• Break up fascial restriction
• Encourage better lymphatic flow
• Support movement and circulation
• Target areas prone to fluid retention and fatty deposits

Legs in particular can feel heavy, puffy or tight… and this technique really gets things moving. It’s really helped with mine!

Now let me be honest — if things are particularly congested or tight, it can feel a little ouchy 😅 But that’s usually a sign there’s work to be done. And I always work within your tolerance.

You can book this as part of a full Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage treatment, or add it on as an enhancement to any massage to a targeted area.

Not a fluffy treatment.
Not just surface level.
Proper, intentional bodywork that makes a difference.

If you’re looking for the cheapest massage in town, I’m probably not your girl.

But if you’re looking for someone who will listen properly, assess properly, treat intentionally and genuinely care about how you feel when you walk out of my room… then you’re exactly who I built Rejuvenate for.

Every treatment isn’t just “time on the table.”
It’s my training. My experience. My continued education. My body that has invested hours and hours learning how to help you move better, sleep better and feel more at home in your body, (I don’t even have time to watch Netflix anymore) 🤣

I invest in courses. I practise. I refine. I learn.
Not to gain fancy certificates (although a bonus) - but to give you better care.

And yes, I completely understand that life is expensive right now (single mum here 🙋🏼‍♀️), I never want to be out of reach or unrealistic. That’s why I offer different treatment lengths, memberships and raffles — so you can prioritise your wellbeing in a way that works for you.

But quality care will never be rushed.

Two days. Full brain. Fully stretched body. 💆🏼‍♀️✨

I’ve just spent the weekend completing the new Clinical Assisted Stretching training with the brilliant .joyanes from , and a room full of other passionate, enthusiastic therapists – and what a brilliant couple of days.

Day 1 was all about the foundations – MSK theory, the science behind stretching, different types, and the real benefits when it’s done properly. Then straight into upper body practical work 👏🏼

Day 2 we consolidated everything (thank goodness!) and repeated the upper body techniques before moving into lower body stretches. Head to toe mobility work. And yes… I was very happily stretched myself 😌

If you’ve never had a 1–2–1 assisted stretch session, here’s why they’re so powerful:

✨ Increases flexibility and joint range of motion
✨ Reduces muscle tension and stiffness
✨ Improves posture and movement quality
✨ Supports recovery from training
✨ Helps with chronic tightness (hello desk workers 👋🏼)
✨ Can reduce aches linked to muscular imbalance

Feeling a little tired, a little hormonal, and very grateful 🙏

I give my all to every single client, but this afternoon I needed to give some of that care back to myself.

Fire on, electric blanket warming me through, eyes closed while the wind howls outside 🌬️ … a proper nanna nap was non-negotiable. (And no, I didn’t film my whole nap) 🤣🤣

Because rest is part of the work.

And this little pause means I can show up tomorrow with the same care, presence and magic again ✨

Your massage time is exactly what you book. The extra 15 mins on my booking system is just for getting settled, consultation and turnaround before the next client.

Filling in your consent form beforehand really helps maximise your time on the table. If we need more consultation time, this comes out of your time on the table 💜
