I know I haven't posted for a while, 2 reasons 1) I'm not great at social media 😀 2) I've been away competing at the Invictus Games. I'd like to thank each of you who sent me messages wishing me luck and congratulations, I cannot say how much these messages meant to me and thank you isn't enough. The experience is one I'll never forget.

I've had a couple of days now catching up on sleep and doing loads of washing 😂 so if you need an appointment please drop me a line.

Over the past couple of months I have had quite a few clients who have had sports massage previously and come away having had a bad experience. These experiences have ranged from significant pain to bruising so bad it looked like they had been attacked (clients words).

1. Does sports massage hurt? - some of the treatments can be painful but not unbearable
2. Can a treatment cause bruising? - it can but if it does happen it shouldn't be major. Cupping can cause dark bruises but these are more akin to "love bite" type bruises as blood is brought to skin.

If you are in any doubt when thinking of having a treatment please speak to the therapist who will answer any queries you may have.
Additionally, if you are being treated and are having doubts you can say stop at any point.
