A very gratifying message from a lovely client.

✨ Client Gratitude ✨

“I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional support and guidance I received during a challenging time. The expertise and compassion shown to me were a real source of hope, and I deeply appreciated the safe, non-judgmental space I was given to explore my thoughts and feelings.

The willingness to provide a letter of support meant a tremendous amount to me, and I’m very thankful for the time and care taken to advocate on my behalf.

This work has made a profound impact on my life, and I’m truly grateful for the kindness, empathy, and dedication shown throughout.”

Shared with permission.

With the lovely sunshine we have had over the last few weeks, it’s easy to think that there isn’t a mental health crisis going on.
But.
There are many people who are experiencing a real crisis in their lives.
Please take notice if a friend or family member has gone quiet or is avoiding the stuff they usually enjoy. It may be a sign of them struggling with depression or anxiety.
Touch base with them. It may be nothing, but you may just be the difference between them beginning to recover or sinking even deeper.

I was watching Dragons Den a couple of weeks ago, and a woman was presenting Mood Bears.
Lovely Teddy bears, in different colours representing different feelings or emotions.

Children, especially, have difficulty in identifying and expressing how they feel, and as adults, we often don't have someon...

You may have heard of Freud and Jung, very worthy scholars in the world of mental health.
BUT. Good mental health does not come from their, or any other scholars’ writings. It comes from self care, it comes from being kind to yourself, knowing that there are difficulties in life, and allowing compassion for yourself and others.

“Be Kind” was much said a couple of years ago.
I agree wholeheartedly, just don’t forget to extend that kindness to yourself.
