🌸Family Mornings at The Manor House WSM🌸

It was a truly beautiful day on Saturday and it finally feels like spring is on it's way!☀️🌼

We want to say a heartfelt thank you to the families who came along to spend time with their loved ones here at The Manor House on such a gorgeous day - your visits mean the world to our residents and the joy on their faces says it all💜

There were lots of cakes, laughter and fun shared throughout the morning, making it another lovely family morning full of warmth and connection🧁💞

We're already looking forward to many more mornings like this as the days get brighter and warmer🌷☀️

Our next Family Mornings at The Manor is on Saturday 28th March 10-12

🎉Happy Birthday to our brilliant Cook, Billy!🎉

Today, we're celebrating Billy, who has been part of The Manor House family for four years💜

"Happy Birthday to our brilliant cook!

Huge birthday wishes to the one person who can calm a chaotic day with a plate of something delicious. You keep our residents smiling, our celebrations running like clockwork and the manager from raiding the cupboards like a gremlin after hours.

Your kindness fills the home just as much as your cooking does - and honestly, we'd all be lost (and very hungry) without you. Thank you for catering every resident occasion with a smile, laugh and usually a miracle or two.

Hope your day is packed with joy, good company and food you didn't have to cook yourself. You deserve every bit of it!"🎂💛

❤️Love stories at The Manor House WSM❤️

February is the month of love and here at The Manor House we've been celebrating the wonderful couples who remind us what true love looks like every day💜

Today, we spoke with two of our lovely couples and asked them how they met and how long they've been together - and their stories are beautiful🌸

💑Peter and Mo
Peter joined The Manor House in September and met his partner Mo 13 years ago at church. After service one day, Peter offered Mo a lift home - twice she politely refused but the third time she said yes...and the rest is history!

💞Billy and Elaine
Billy joined The Manor House in December and met his partner Elaine when he asked if he could help her with her cleaning job. Elaine was working alone at the time and was greatful for the extra pair of hands. 32 years later, they built a successful cleaning business together - working everywhere across Weston, from hotels to Weston College!🧹✨️

These beautiful stories remind us that love truly stands the test of time - and we're so lucky to have such wonderful couples as part of The Manor House family 🌹

🥞Pancake Day at The Manor House WSM🥞

Today, our Activities Coordinator Georgia treated residents to a delicious Pancake Day celebration!💛

Residents enjoyed freshly made pancakes with a choice of lemon and sugar🍋 maple syrup or strawberries and bananas🍓🍌 and the whole home was filled with the mouth watering smell of pancakes cooking!😋

Everyone enjoyed a wonderful morning together💛

❤️Valentine's Day at The Manor House❤️

Love was in the air today at The Manor House💖

Residents and their partners enjoyed a beautiful Valentine's lunch together with the dining room decorated with love hearts and balloons to set the scene. Each partner received a gift of flowers, adding an extra touch of warmth and appreciation to the day🌹

Our residents also had a wonderful time making chocolate-covered strawberries to enjoy with their afternoon tea☕️🍓 The perfect sweet treat to celebrate love and togetherness.

It was a truly special day filled with smiles, laughter and plenty of love💕

💜Support Coffee Morning at The Manor House WSM💜

This morning we welcomed families to our monthly Support Coffee Morning - a safe and friendly space for those supporting loved ones living in care.

Our Support Coffee Morning offers families a place to come together - to talk, listen and share their experiences of caring for loved ones living in care, through dementia, bereavement or the day to day challenges that come with it☕️

Our next Support Coffee Morning will take place on Tuesday 10th March, 10am - 12pm.

Anyone who has a family member living in a care home in or around Weston is warmly invited to join us. These mornings are all about community supporting one another - a chance to talk, listen and know you're not alone💜

Together, we create a circle of care and understanding that extends beyond our walls🌷

Today we're celebrating Jayson, one of our wonderful healthcare assistants, who has been part of The Manor House WSM family for two and a half years💜

"Jayson - someone who has brought so much heart, warmth and joy to our home over the past two years. From the moment he joined us, he has been a genuine pleasure to work with and a uplifting presence for everyone around him.

Jayson's playful nature, warm smile and infectious laugh have a way of brightening even the busiest days. He has a remarkable gift for making the people who live here feel comfortable, valued and truly part of the family. His kindness and energy ripple through the home in the best possible way.

It might have been raining and miserable outside, but it was all sunshine and smiles here at The Manor House!☀️💜

Our Family Mornings at The Manor was filled with laughter, games, delicious pastries, comforting hot chocolates and plenty of meaningful moments shared between families and loved ones🥐☕️

We're delighted to invite you to our next Family Mornings at The Manor on Saturday 31st January between 10am - 12pm.

These special mornings take place on the last Saturday of every month and offer a wonderful opportunity for family and friends to come together, spend time with their loved ones and connect with other members of The Manor House family💜

All family members welcome - children, grandchildren and even pets!🐾

💅🥂Spa Day at The Manor House WSM🥂💅

We were delighted to welcome Sacred Willow to The Manor House this morning for a truly relaxing spa day experience!

Our residents enjoyed hand massages, chocolates and Prosecco! The perfect way to begin the week in style🥂✨️

Thank you to Sacred Willow for the wonderful pamper morning they gave our residents today - they absolutely loved it! Was such a lovely treat and brought a real sense of relaxation and joy to the home.

Their gentle approach and kind nature made everyone feel so special and we're truly grateful for the time and care they gave to each resident.

A heartfelt thank you to Sacred Willow for providing such a wonderful experience and bringing so much joy to our residents🌷

🎉Happy Birthday to our brilliant Maintenance star, Paul!🎉

Today we're celebrating Paul's special day - and after 17 amazing years at The Manor House WSM it's safe to say we'd be lost without him!

"Paul is truly an integral part of life at The Manor House. He's always willing to lend a hand and nothing is ever too much trouble. His positivity is infectious - he brings a smile to everyone's face and keeps both staff and residents laughing with his good humour.
We are incredibly lucky to have such a dedicated, talented and genuinely uplifting maintenence man on our team. The Manor House wouldn't be the same without him".
