Yesterday we had a full house in the lounge with Boogie Beats Playgroup! It's lovely to see the children playing with the residents and bringing a smile to everyone's face!

We had a real treat today - Ben our activities coordinator brought his guitar in to play along with singer Dave Steer! We had a full house in the lounge with people singling along and dancing in their seats!

Our Activities Coordinator Ben won our STAR Employee of the Month award today! One of our lovely residents Tony presented him with the award and we had smiles and clapping all round! Well done Ben! Here are a few of the comments from the nominations he received:

“Ben has been doing such an amazing job in a role that is new to him. He’s really taken time to get to know the residents, is thinking of new ideas and residents have warmed to him so much.”

It's and today we’re celebrating the fantastic work of Rob, part of the maintenance team at Ellenborough Nursing & Residential Care Home, one of our local care homes.

Rob plays a huge role in keeping the home running smoothly, including fixing things, redecorating rooms and shared spaces, and helping residents with those everyday practical bits like televisions and equipment.

All residents know Rob, and he’s always ready to lend a hand.

When redecorating, Rob brings wallpaper samples so residents can choose what feels right for them, as he knows how important it is that they are happy with their own spaces.

His hard work has a positive impact on both residents and staff, helping the whole home feel safe, fresh and welcoming.

Thank you, Rob, for everything you do. 🌟
