Our care home is designed to provide the best possible environment for people living with dementia. With a traditional setting and period features, our beautifully appointed home is located in the hillside area of Weston-super-Mare. Our person-centered philosophy, where service users are encouraged to participate in all areas of the home, seeks to provide the best opportunity to maintain independence and encourage stimulation.

🌸 Spring has finally arrived! 🌷☀️

Today some of our lovely ladies enjoyed spending time outside in the sunshine, planting beautiful flowers and making a wonderful start to our garden. 🌼🪴 Their smiles, laughter, and teamwork made the afternoon extra special.

Other residents joined us too, happily watching the garden come to life and enjoying the fresh air together. 🌿👩‍🌾 It was a lovely way to welcome the new season and spend time with friends. 💐💛

Hello Spring! 🌸☀️

The sunshine has finally arrived and our residents were just as happy to come out and enjoy the garden. Fresh air, warm sunshine, and smiles all around made it a lovely day for everyone.

Garden centres are now open and full of colour, encouraging us to start thinking about early gardening. A few of our residents are already excited about planting and spending more time outdoors. There is something special about enjoying a warm drink outside while taking in the spring air. ☕🌷

We also celebrated the Holi Festival, which brought lots of colour and laughter. It was great fun for the staff, but even more special to see some of our residents watching, smiling, and even joining in if they wanted to. 🌈

Moments like these remind us how wonderful it is to welcome a new season together.

We’ve been out and about enjoying fresh air, good company and little adventures. 🚶‍♀️🌤️☕
There were plenty of smiles while socialising and building friendships. 🤝💬❤️
Hot drinks kept everyone warm and cosy while we chatted and watched the world go by. ☕🍰🧣

It’s always so good to step out of the usual routine and try something different. 🌈🌻🌍
A change of scenery can lift the mood and bring new energy. 🌟😊

For those who stayed in, the fun continued indoors. 🎨🖍️
We enjoyed colouring seasonal pictures and bringing them to life with bright colours. 🍁🌸🎨
There were also lots of fun moments with our good old balloon games. 🎈🙌
A simple balloon can bring so much stimulation, joy and gentle exercise. 💛✨

Every moment matters, whether out exploring or enjoying activities at home. 🏡💖
So proud of all the smiles and special memories made this week. 🌟📸💕

Tuesday’s Wonders 🥞✨

Pancake Day at Butterfly House was full of smiles, sweet treats, and happy moments! 🦋💛 Our residents enjoyed delicious pancakes topped with fresh strawberries 🍓 and blueberries 🫐, golden syrup 🍯, fresh whipped cream 🍦, and the classic lemon and sugar 🍋✨. Some even chose Nutella for an extra treat 🍫😍

The smell of pancakes cooking filled the home and brought everyone together around the table 🥞💬 It was lovely to see so much joy over something so simple and special 💕

A big thank you to Tony for taking charge of the cooking and flipping those pancakes like a pro! 👨‍🍳👏 We couldn’t have done it without you! 🌟

Love was truly in the air at Butterfly House this Valentine! ❤️💕

So much love. So many friendships. So many hearts everywhere. 💖💞💗

Our wonderful residents enjoyed creating beautiful Valentine’s cards filled with kind words and colourful designs 🎨✂️💌 It was lovely to see everyone sharing ideas, helping one another, and laughing together

The celebrations continued with sweet treats 🍰🧁🍫 and sparkling drinks 🥂✨, making the afternoon feel extra special. Smiles all around and plenty of happy chatter.💬💓

Moments like these remind us that friendship, kindness and togetherness mean everything. 💞🌸
