We encourage and promote self advocacy for people with a learning disability and autism over the age of 16 within North Somerset. We have the knowledge ,experience and desire to tackle; Hate Crime, Social exclusion, Choices, Rights, Supported Living, Transitions and Discrimination.We can support you to have a VOICE. Come along to our meetings, join our groups and SPEAK UP for all the things that matter to you in your life.

A reminder that the Ten-Pin Bowling tournament is this Friday (27th February 2026) at Allstars Bowling!

Come and help People First win!

🕙Time: Arrival from 10am - Games to start at 10:30am

📍Where: 👉 Allstars Sports Bowl Weston-s-Mare Dolphin Square, BS23 1FF

Cost: A discounted price of £5 per player.
Optional meal deal available for another £5.

A LOVE-ly Friends Together group was had on Friday. 🥰

We were small in numbers but large in warmth! 🤗

Members thought about ‘Things I love about me’ including activities, people and things they are good at ❤️

We then did some Valentine’s themed colouring and word searches before making some cute ‘Sweet-heart Jars’ to take home 🍬🫙 🧡

Our quiz at Friends Together went well last Friday with 22 of you showing up. It was busy but fun 🤩

It was really lovely to welcome a group of learners from Weston College who are accessing the Pathways to Supported Adulthood. We hope you enjoyed yourselves. Well done to Rebecca and Charlie who were on the winning quiz team. 👏🥇

Yesterday we headed to Portishead for a walking group at The Lakegrounds.🚶‍♀️🦆

We are always impressed when our members show up in the rain. ☔️ 👟 👍

We did a lap of the Lake, looking at wildlife 🦆 🦢
Then headed along the prom to the Lido for tea & cake 🍰 ☕️

Finishing with singing Happy Birthday to Suzie, using Makaton 🎵🎂 🎁
