We encourage and promote self advocacy for people with a learning disability and autism over the age of 16 within North Somerset. We have the knowledge ,experience and desire to tackle; Hate Crime, Social exclusion, Choices, Rights, Supported Living, Transitions and Discrimination.We can support you to have a VOICE. We are pleased to announce that a guest from SARI Stand Against Racism & Inequality will be at our Friends Together group in Portishead on Friday. 🙂

We will play games and have our usual fun, but there will also be a chance to chat and learn about Hate Crime and (if you want) talk about your own experiences.

We’re excited to invite members to a special creative session where we’ll be using clay to craft figurines on any theme of your choice.

These pieces will become part of a larger art installation to be exhibited at The Common Room.

Just a reminder that there is NO walking group in Portishead today, Tuesday 30 September. 🛑

People First staff will be paying our respects to our lovely member and friend, Andy, who sadly passed away earlier this month. The sun is shinning for him 🕊️🌞

The funeral takes place at 2.30pm today at Weston Crem.

We were also fortunate to visit the ‘A decade since Dismaland’ exhibition! 🖼️
