Laundry! Laundry! Laundry! I know many residents & their relatives have given feedback about our laundry service, which I appreciate needs to improved. We have invested in a clothes labelling system called Fixxon. Fixxon is a two-part labelling system designed specifically for care homes. It combines durable, laser-etched buttons customised with a resident’s room number with a handheld tool that attaches each label. They’re smooth, discreet, and laundry-safe. Our buttons can be reused across garments, even tricky items like socks. As you can see we started labelling clothes this afternoon. We are confident this system will be a vast improvement from our previous protocols 🤞 Thank you for your continued support. Emma, Zoe & team 😊

A few weeks ago we were joined by Alive Activities to tell us about a show which was taking place at our local theatre. There were some interesting discussions regarding the storyline and props were used to explain in detail.

Yesterday, 8 of our wonderful residents were lucky enough to attend the threatre to watch the show - "The farmer and the clown."

A massive thank you to everyone involved for making this possible!

Today we introduced Marie to our weekly activity schedule!
The residents throughly enjoyed the armchair aerobics session.

Marie will be joining us every Thursday at 2:45pm.

We have had a fabulous afternoon at our VE day party today!
Entertainment was provided by Steve East. The residents thoroughly enjoyed singing and dancing along with him.

Thank you to our amazing team and relatives who supported our residents to have a great afternoon! Especially to our Annie who arranged the party, entertainment and decorations. Also a special thank you to Rob and Marie for providing a brilliant buffet!

Now to relax in front of the television with the rest of the buffet leftovers... 😋
