Wishing Rev. Karen Murphy a very happy retirement.
Thank you for your 21 years of dedication, compassion, and unwavering support to families in and around Weston. Your kindness and commitment have made a lasting difference in so many lives.
Wishing you all the very best in this next chapter—you’ve truly earned it.
Earlier this month we said farewell to our Chaplain and Spiritual Lead, Karen Murphy, as she retires from her role at Weston Hospicecare after 21 years.
Karen explained: "I’ve been overwhelmed by the trouble taken by so many people to send good wishes and thoughts. It’s hard to know where 21 years has gone since I started in this role and it’s been such a privilege to be part of this team of support that we offer to our patients and families. It’s impossible to know just how many people have received spiritual care and support over these years, but it’s a lot. My thanks got to those staff and volunteers who have supported me through the ups and downs that have come our way."
Karen will be missed in her role and the whole Weston Hospicecare team wish her a very happy retirement! 💙
We are sure there will be many of you who have nice stories or well wishes to share with Karen, so feel free to comment them below and we will pass them onto her!
