💙 We’re updating the name of our Defib Legacy Programme 💙

We’re proud to share that the Defib Legacy Programme will now be known as the:

👉 Defib Legacy In Memory Programme

This change reflects what the programme truly stands for.

It is about creating something deeply personal for families – a lasting tribute that honours the life, memory, and legacy of someone special. It highlights our commitment to keeping their memory alive in a powerful, life-saving way, while continuing to strengthen access to defibrillators in our communities.

By placing defibrillators in memory of loved ones, families are not only remembering them with dignity and love, but also helping to protect others and potentially save lives. We hope this new name better represents that purpose and encourages more families to join us in creating meaningful legacies.

Thank you so much for all your ongoing support – it truly means everything to us. 💙

Michael Ashton.

In loving memory of Michael Ashton - beloved husband to Marilyn, brother to Chris, father to Richard and Vicky, and much-loved grandad 'Ampey' to Ida and Sonny.

Known for his kindness, generosity, and quiet support of others, Michael is also remembered for his mischievous sense of humour. A proud Morris dancer with the Chalice Morris Men and a familiar face through Boulevard Kitchens, he will be fondly remembered by family, friends, and the wider community. He is much loved and will always be remembered.

Mike's Funeral service is at St Nicholas Church on Wednesday 28th January 2026 at 12:30 pm.
