Dakota group services LTD are looking for ad-hoc and permanent security guards and door supervisors to join our team.

We have a few shifts a week plus a 30 plus hour a week position we are looking to cover at our retail sites around Radstock and Somerset and night time venues around Weston super Mare
We have a 5-7 hour a week role if you are interested in just a small role. This is located in Weston super Mare

One position is an ad-hoc position and the other is permanent. The permanent position requires you to have a your own transport.

Site locations can be different each shift - please bear this in mind. The main locations we are recruiting for are the following - Radstock - Midsomer Norton

Locations are across Somerset area including the following ( highbridge and burnham - radstock - Glastonbury - Weston super mare - outskirts of Bristol )

This position is weekly pay on a self employed basis with invoices needing to be sent.

We will require all staff to go through our compliance checks. This includes the following

- DBS
- sia license and number
- cv with working history
- if on a working visa - compliance checks will need to be done on this.
-good English communication and good writing skills are essential for these positions
-Good time keeping and punctuality is essential
- we are unable to take anyone on a student visa as you may exceed your allowed working hours

On the job training will be given to all staff and suitable candidates.

Dakota group Services Ltd are looking for a security supervisor to join our team.

This is a fixed hour position of 25-40 hours a week.

The role will include covering our retail sites and night time economy shifts.

The responsibility of the role will be the following

- Detour crime
- Respond to incidents ( including anti social behaviour and first aid )
- Crime reporting
- conflict management
- site patrols and securing sites

On the job training will be given to staff including yearly refreshers on first aid and conflict management.

Requirements for the role
- SIA ( door supervisor license) this is required
- Full Uk driving license ( required )
- first aid certificate ( preferred)

This position is based in Weston super mare but sites do go as far as Somerset ( Radstock )

To all of our followers, venues, clients and customers.

We just want to reassure everyone that is working this weekend that we have put in place extra security and patrols with the expected events happening in Weston super mare town centre.

It will be a busy weekend and we want to reassure and put peace of mind to our valued customers and clients that we are here and ready to respond to all incidents that arise.

We have put in place extra security and response staff. You’ll be able to find Dakota security staff in town wearing our uniforms and they will stand out with high visibility vests. All of our venues over the Friday and Saturday night will have extra measures in place and that will stay in place for the future as well. This is including a AED that can also be used by the public and Stop the bleeding kits as well available to staff and members of the public should the need arise.

Several of our response staff will be out as well. They all carry life saving equipment from oxygen to aeds.

If anyone feels unsafe, worried or needs a safe place please find one of our staff and they’ll be ready to help.

All of our staff will also be wearing body cameras for everyone’s protection.

Dakota group are looking to hire for a full time position.

We are looking for a mobile response officer to cover several of our sites each week. This means one day you can be at one site the next another.

All the sites are local based around Somerset.
This post will require you to have own transportation to sites. We do also have job opportunities for non drivers.

Requirements

SIA license
First aid
Right to work
Driving license ( essential for this role)
