Our team is growing, and we select only people with the right attitude: a real enthusiasm to connect with people; and a genuine desire to care. Attitude is more important than experience! Right at Home’s premium quality care and companionship services are highly personalised and support people to live happily and independently in the comfort of their own home. Our Clients receive their care the way they want, at a time when they want it. They are fully involved in all decision-making, including their personalised care plan. Behind the scenes, we understand it is crucial that our Clients, their families and our staff receive the very best support and expertise from the Right at Home team. This is why our Managers and Care Coordinators were chosen, for their friendly and approachable ‘can do’ attitude, as well as their professionalism and experience in the field. They know all of their Clients’ personal preferences and keep their fingers on the pulse of any changes to their health. They work in partnership with the Client, their loved ones and any other healthcare professionals to provide cohesive, all-round support. CareGivers also need support, and we make sure they benefit from regular confidential supervision sessions and thorough training, as well as 24/7 mobile phone access to an experienced member of the care team, so help and advice is only a phone call away. We care for our staff in the same way they care for our Clients, and we like to show our appreciation for their hard work and commitment to providing the highest standard of care. At Right at Home North Somerset, our Carers do so much more than provide support. Every day they bring comfort, dignity, companionship and independence to people in the place that matters most - their own home.

From helping with daily routines to sharing a cup of tea or offering a reassuring hand, our Carers bring joy and connection to our Clients' lives, everyday.

What our Carers do:

Every Monday we come together to share music, laughter and good company. It’s a relaxed, informal hour where everyone is welcome - join in and sing along or just sit back and enjoy the music.

Thank you so much Harri for inviting us in to talk about the community events we host , we love having the opportunity to reach more people that may be feeling isolated and would love to come along and join us at our Sing and Smile at the Note Warehouse on a Monday in Yatton from 11-12 , or our Friday morning friendship group which runs from 10.30 - 12 the second and fourth Friday of the month at Milton Methodist Church .

Our Story

Grant is a family man, who lives in Congresbury, with his wife, two young boys, and a beagle. Grant has always wanted to start his own business, and wanted to do something that would allow him to help people, and give back to his local community.

When Grant started Right at Home in North Somerset, it was the realisation of a dream. Not only could he and his team help to fill a growing need for care and support in his community, he could offer training and employment for local residents.

Grant is fully involved with the business, meeting with clients and team members on a regular basis. Right at Home has already made a great impact in North Somerset, providing services to the local council, and private clients.

"Every client is really important to us, and we really try hard to tailor our service to the needs of the client. Every one of our clients has different needs, abilities, and aspirations".
