STORYTIME:
“The Woman at the End of the Bed”
A True Encounter That Opened the Door to My Calling...
It started on an ordinary night.
Still. Quiet. But charged, like something sacred was waiting just out of sight.
I had just slipped into bed.
That gentle space between wakefulness and dreams had begun to fold around me, when suddenly, I felt it.
A shift. A presence.
The air thickened, not with fear, but with awareness.
A hum I could feel more than hear.
Every hair on my body stood to attention, every cell quietly alert.
And then I saw her.
A woman — standing at the end of my bed.
She didn’t move. She didn’t speak.
But her presence spoke volumes.
She wasn’t shadowy or sinister. She was calm, commanding, ancient.
A light surrounded her like a glow in the corner of a dream. She looked at me, not through me, but into me.
And without a single word, I felt it:
“See me. Hear me. Remember me. You are the bridge.”
I didn’t understand it all in that moment. But something dropped into place, deep in my core, like a lock clicking open in my soul.
Her name came unspoken, yet clear:
Maya.
Not a ghost. Not a figment.
My guide.
She wasn’t just visiting, she was revealing.
She had been with me all along, waiting for this exact moment of readiness.
This sacred meeting was not an accident; it was an initiation.
That night changed everything.
It opened something I didn’t even know was closed.
It stirred the wild, wise parts of me that had been quietly sleeping.
It anchored my path - not just into healing, but into service.
Since that night, Maya has walked beside me, in my work, in my intuition, in the still moments when I feel the veil between worlds is thin enough to breathe through.
And her message lives in me still:
- I am the bridge.
Between the seen and unseen.
Between the seeker and the soul.
Between fear and remembrance - so remember.
I thought I saw a ghost that night.
But I was really meeting my guide and in her eyes, I saw myself.
Since then, everything has unfolded differently.
The way I listen. The way I hold space. The way I walk through the world knowing there is more, more to us, more to the unseen, more to this sacred web of connection that links us all.
Maya became more than a presence.
She became a part of my path,
a reminder that I was never alone, even in the quietest, darkest moments.
She arrived not to scare me, but to awaken me.
To remind me that this work, this calling, this life, isn’t just about the physical.
It’s about the in-between.
The unseen.
The remembered truths we all carry in our bones.
And from that moment, I became what she said I was,
a bridge.
A bridge between the spirit and the self.
Between grief and growth.
Between the whispers of the soul and the wild call of purpose.
That night wasn’t just a visitation.
It was an invitation.
An invitation to rise.
To serve.
To trust the unseen.
To walk with my guides, and help others do the same.
And if you're reading this… perhaps it's your invitation, too.
Because the veil is always closer than we think.
And the guides?
They’re already here.
Waiting for you to remember.
