High tide 🌊 My absolute FAVE. So today had a wet windy walk with my eldest baby, screaming and giggling as the waves smashed the walls. My feet are soaked but my heart is full ❤️

Crispy Chilli Beef 🥩 🌶️ 2 syns per serving, serves 4! Perfect Friday Fakeaway 🤩

2 Beef steaks cut into thin strips coated in 2 tbsp cornflour, then baked in air fryer for 10 mins.

Sauce

Onion and pepper fried off in garlic and ginger for 2 mins, add 4tbsp each of reduced sugar ketchup, reduced sugar sweet chilli, soy sauce and 1 tbsp rice vinegar and then when all sticky add crispy beef then serve with rice and veg 🍚🥬

Fish and chips 🐠 😋

These cod fillets were 7.5 syns each (Young’s lightly dusted) because I was not going to make my own 😂

Air fryed chips and peas, with reduced sugar ketchup (1 syn for 2 tbsp) and home made tartare sauce, just 1 syn for this huge portion!

It was my own version of tartare sauce which I was happy with - fat free yoghurt, 2 tbsp extra light mayo, chopped gherkins, splash of the pickle juice and plenty of salt and pepper to taste 👅

Pancake batter recipe 📍

40g oat
2 eggs
50g fat free greek yoghurt
I tsp baking powder
1 tsp zero cal vanilla syrup

Blend and leave for 10 mins, then fry in a hot pan.

I saw this all over tik tok using onion as a bun, and just had to give it a go - Slimming World Style!

It was awesome.

SATURDAY SURF N TURF 🍤 🥩

Fillet steak and garlic prawns? Coleslaw? All on plan?? Yep!

You could make your own garlic prawns but we used the Marks & Spencer garlic and parsley prawns, 2 syns per half pack. Chucked them in the pan for the last minute to warm through and also asding that delicious garlicky taste to the steak 🤤 The beetroot and apple slaw is just the best and only 2.5 syns for this great portion!
Topped my jacket potato with salt and a laughing cow triangle for a creamy low cal finish. This was absolutely lush 👌🏻

🌶️NANDOS FAKEAWAY 🌶️

Gotta love a cheeky Nandos, especially when it’s on plan, homemade and saving you ££’s as well as lb’s!

Butterflied chicken breast, with Nandos rub and peri sauce, lemon and garlic broccoli, sweet potato chips and a side of halloumi 🧀

Tonight we planned to make burgers… 😂 I started doing my tax return and ran out of time (and the will to live) - so on plan Indian takeaway to the rescue! Shared a chicken tikka Dansak and chicken shashlick, rice and salad 😇
