We are incredibly proud to share that our very own Molly from Home Instead Weston super Mare, Clevedon and Burnham on Sea was selected as one of three Care Professional of the Year finalists.
Molly recently attended the Care Pro of the Year finalist event and what an achievement it was. Making it that far is so well deserved and a true reflection of the care, kindness and dedication she shows every single day.
As a finalist, Molly was also invited to the Home Instead 20 year celebration event in London on Friday 13th February. It was an unforgettable experience and she came back absolutely buzzing after such a special day.
Moments like this remind us what care really means. To us, care is about compassion, trust and truly understanding the people we support. It is about being there for someone in the moments that matter, helping them feel safe, respected and valued in their own home. Molly lives this every day through the way she supports her Clients, and we could not be prouder.

This week we celebrated a very special milestone. Our lovely client Sheila turned 100 years old 🎉💖. She was visited, wished, and pictured as part of her birthday celebrations. We are so happy to share this wonderful moment with her. Happy Birthday, Sheila! 🎂💛

Our ✨ Care Professional of the Year ✨ has been announced!

Congratulations to Gail Colby from Home Instead - Norwich.

Gail has done more than support older people at home. Running local Companionship Cafes, she helps strengthen the community by bringing older people and their families together. She's a fantastic support to her fellow Care Professionals, even delivering cooking sessions to help them confidently prepare meals for clients.

Well done to our finalists, Samantha Bray from Home Instead Stockport - Home Care & Live-in Care and Molly Maskell from Home Instead Weston super Mare, Clevedon & Burnham on Sea. Since taking up their roles, their commitment to providing quality home care has never wavered.

They were treated to afternoon tea at London's St Pancras Hotel, with Dr Jane Townson OBE, CEO of the Homecare Association joining them.

Well done to all three of these shining Home Instead stars.

We are pleased to introduce Tabletop Travels at Home Instead as our new initiative to create meaningful and engaging experiences. 🌍

These multi-sensory travel boxes include curated, country-specific materials, a short guide, and a QR code, all designed to awaken memories, spark curiosity, and encourage shared experiences. In December, the featured destination was Malta, with many more locations available to explore in the future.

The travel boxes are created by Tabletop Travels, a non-profit organisation whose work helps reduce isolation and promote connection.

On 11 December, we wore our Christmas jumpers at the Home Instead office. for Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day 🎄 It was a lovely opportunity to come together as a team, bring a bit of seasonal cheer into the day, and support a truly worthwhile cause.
