Sam has been raising funds for Make-A-Wish by selling his beautifully painted canvases to our staff and wow, what a talent he is!

So far, heโ€™s raised ยฃ40 towards our total, and we couldnโ€™t be prouder ๐Ÿ‘

Walking for Wishes at Stuart House ๐Ÿ’™

We are incredibly proud of Helen Leonard, our wonderful administrator at Stuart House, and her daughter Olive-Mae, who completed a 2.5-mile walk in July to raise money for Make-A-Wish UK

Their route took them from Uphill Park to Marine Lake, completing the journey in just 58 minutes. Olive even made her own poster and held it high for the whole walk, a lovely touch that brought smiles along the way!

So far, they have raised ยฃ180, with donations still coming in. What a fantastic effort for such a special cause, helping to bring joy to children who need it most.

Many of our residents know Olive well, she often joins us during school holidays to help with activities, always bringing energy, kindness, and laughter into the home.

Over the weekend, HelenPowell, our brilliant Activities Coordinator at Stuart House in Weston-super-Mare, raised an incredible ยฃ235 for Make-A-Wish UK!

Dressed in an inflatable dinosaur costume, Helen walked 6.4 miles from Uphill Beach to Birnbeck Pier, bringing smiles and raising funds for a truly magical cause.

Residents from Stuart House enjoyed a wonderful day out at Oakham Treasures near Bristol, exploring fascinating memorabilia from farming and retail history.

From vintage tractors to old shop displays, the museum sparked plenty of reminiscing and smiles. After a stroll through the exhibits, everyone enjoyed a relaxing lunch together.

It was a joy to hear stories from their younger days โ€“ such special memories shared! ๐Ÿ’ฌโค๏ธ

Staff at Stuart House came together to recognise , a reminder of how important it is to talk openly about mental health and support one another. ๐Ÿ’š

Our wonderful Activities Coordinator, Helen, set up a table filled with helpful resources and self-care sheets for the team to explore. It was a thoughtful gesture that encouraged everyone to take a moment to reflect and share awareness around this important day.
