A memory came up today. A nice reminder that I will be doing this again in October.

"Thank you so much to the lovely folks who came out to my Angels event last night. It was so inspiring to hear your feedback such as "I have known about my angel for a long time, but tonight was the first time I actually saw her!". It was also interesting to hear from a healer who said she works with her spirit guide very closely and when her angel came, she felt it was a higher vibration. How wonderful! Thanks for sharing. It was awesome! "

🌟✨ Congratulations to this fabulous group of yogis! ✨🌟

Back in April 2023, these wonderful souls completed their 6-week Beginners Yoga Programme 💛 What an absolute joy it was to guide, stretch, laugh and grow together each week!

Your progress, positivity and commitment made the journey such a special one. I couldn’t be prouder of all you’ve achieved 🙌

💫 A little shout-out to Caroline and Celina too — they couldn’t make the final class, so they’re missing from the photo, but very much part of this brilliant bunch!

And the best bit? Some of these lovely yogis are still with me now in my regular Tuesday 5:30 pm class upstairs at Kewstoke Village Hall — continuing to flow, grow and glow together 🧘‍♀️💫

Wellness Reminder from Me (and Holly!):

The older I get, the more I realise the power in one simple word: “No.”
And my wise daughter Holly often reminds me…”No” is a complete sentence.

You don’t need to justify, explain, or apologise for honouring your own energy.
You’re allowed to say no… and still be a kind, loving, generous soul.

🤍 It’s ok to cancel a commitment.
🤍 It’s ok to not answer a call.
🤍 It’s ok to change your mind.
🤍 It’s ok to want to be alone.
🤍 It’s ok to take a day off.
🤍 It’s ok to do nothing.
🤍 It’s ok to speak up.
🤍 And yes—it’s ok to let go.

In fact… it’s more than ok. It’s essential.
You can’t pour from an empty teacup (or a drained chakra!).

Let this be your gentle permission slip for today:

Say no if you need to. Say yes to your wellbeing. ✨

A little memory popped up today from 12 years ago, when I was living in beautiful Ontario. I was teaching Reflexology and Ayurvedic Indian Head Massage back then—and guess what? I still am! 💆‍♀️💫

Some things never change… like the pure joy I feel when a student has that lightbulb moment….you know the one, where it all clicks and their confidence starts to bloom. 🌸

Teaching these therapies is more than just passing on knowledge, it’s watching people awaken to their gifts, and I feel lucky every day to be a part of that. 🙏💖

Let’s talk about the other Warrior Pose…

Presenting: The Worrier Pose (we’ve all been there 😅)

That moment in class when instead of feeling strong and grounded, your brain decides to spiral into a full-blown episode of:
✨ "Am I doing this right?"
✨ "Why are my b***s doing that?"
✨ "Should I get chips for dinner?"
✨ "Am I happy???"

This tongue-in-cheek comic by Gemma Correll made me giggle and reminded me how often we carry our mental clutter onto the mat. And that’s okay. Your yoga practice doesn’t require a quiet mind—it simply offers a space to witness the noise with compassion. ❤️

Mental Health Awareness Week is the perfect time to:
💚 Be gentle with yourself
💚 Laugh at the chatter
💚 Breathe through the uncertainty
💚 Know that you’re not alone

If your mind’s been a bit of a circus lately (mine too!), know you’re welcome to wobble, wonder, and worry in my classes. We’re human, not perfect—and we move, breathe, and unravel together.
