Did you know we offer an OCT as part of our enhanced eye examination?

The OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) is a simple non invasive procedure which gives a 3D cross-sectional scan of your retina. It enables us to view the microscopic layers beyond the surface of your eyes allowing us to detect potential abnormalities that are not apparent during a standard eye examination.

We recommend this for all patients, especially for anybody who suffers or has a family history of macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular holes, optic nerve disease, retinal tear, floaters or any person with sight in only one eye.

We also offer an additional OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) scan as part of our enhanced eye examination which can take a three-dimensional cross-sectional scan of your retina, checking for early signs of any potential abnormalities.
