Did you know we offer an OCT as part of our enhanced eye examination?

The OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) is a simple non invasive procedure which gives a 3D cross-sectional scan of your retina. It enables us to view the microscopic layers beyond the surface of your eyes allowing us to detect potential abnormalities that are not apparent during a standard eye examination.

We recommend this for all patients, especially for anybody who suffers or has a family history of macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular holes, optic nerve disease, retinal tear, floaters or any person with sight in only one eye..
