This week we are highlighting the importance of good hydration and nutrition for our residents.

Staying well hydrated and enjoying balanced, nutritious meals plays a vital role in supporting health, wellbeing, and energy levels — especially for those living with dementia. Our team works closely together to ensure residents receive meals and drinks that are not only nourishing but also enjoyable and tailored to their individual needs.

From colourful plates of food to regular drinks and healthy snacks throughout the day, we encourage residents to stay refreshed and fuelled.

Because good food and hydration help our residents feel their very best. 💙

💐Happy Mother's Day 💐

Today we celebrate the wonderful mothers and grandmothers who are part of our home. Each of them has a lifetime of love, care, and memories that have shaped families and generations.

Even when memories fade, the love they have shared continues to shine through in the smiles, kindness, and warmth they bring every day. It is an honour for our team to care for such incredible women.

We are thinking of all families today and sending love to everyone celebrating and remembering their mums. ❤️

☕Coffee Morning☕

We had a lovely morning at a local church community coffee morning. It was lovely to share tea, coffee, cakes, and plenty of conversation together. ☕🍰

There was lots of laughter, friendly chats, and a warm sense of community as everyone enjoyed spending time together.
Moments like these remind us how important it is to share connections with the local community and have the opportunity to support one another, and brighten someone's day. 💛

Today our residents enjoyed joining in a gentle exercise session together. 💪😊

The activity helped everyone stay active while having fun, with lots of smiles, encouragement, and laughter along the way. Gentle exercise is a great way to support wellbeing, improve mobility, and bring everyone together for some positive energy.

It’s always wonderful to see our residents taking part, supporting each other, and enjoying the moment. 🌟

The days are getting brighter, the flowers are starting to bloom, and there’s a lovely feeling of spring in the air! 🌞🌸

At our home, we’re looking forward to enjoying the longer days with garden strolls, fresh seasonal activities, and plenty of tea and chats with friends. Spring is a wonderful reminder of new beginnings and the joy that simple moments can bring.

Whether it’s spotting the first daffodils, listening to the birds singing, or enjoying a sunny afternoon together, we’re excited to make the most of this beautiful season. 🌼🐦

We had a wonderful time celebrating yesterday with cake, smiles, and plenty of birthday cheer 🎉

Our resident received a lovely photo collage, full of birthday wishes from family in Australia. It was such a heart warming moment to see the joy on her face while sharing the pictures with staff and friends. 🎁

Even though miles may separate us, moments like these remind us that family love travels any distance. 💜
