We had a different visitor at GS this morning.

Dandi the goat 🐐 😍

Karen Austin from Mother.Clucking.Farm bought him in to say hello to us all. Karen has lovingly hand reared him and is now using him as a therapy goat. Today was his first time in his new role and he did brilliantly.

Dandi is just one of the many animals that team mother clucker look after and Dandi is one of the 9 goats in their small herd. The family milk the goats and use it to make fantastic soaps and creams which they sell from their shop at the Pannier market in Bideford, local markets and also from their online store.

JOB OPPORTUNITY at Golden Sands Care Home
** DAY CARE ASSISTANT **
24 hours a week, made up of a mixture of 6 and 12hr shifts. 8am-2pm, 2pm-8pm or 8am-8pm.
Alternate weekends working.
Enhanced rates for Sundays, Bank holidays and Christmas Day
No experience necessary as full training will be provided.
This position will be subject to successful references and DBS/ISA checks.

We were kindly given a gift back along, to purchase something that all the residents and staff could enjoy at Golden Sands. We are happy to be able to show off our beautiful planters and flowers bought in loving memory of the wonderful Gwynne Dendle. Thank-you so much. They will be enjoyed for many years to come 🌸💐⚘️🌻🌼
