Delighted to support our local hospital tomorrow St Peters who are putting on a "Community Open Day" tomorrow for the local people of this area to introduce them to the local care homes in the area.

At 1pm (in the main hospital entrance) there will be open informal conversations based around how they support self funders after hospital stays.

40 goodie bags, prepared and delivered today. 😁

Thank you Ashford & St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for giving us the opportunity to be a part of this.

So today we had the fabulous Jane Beaumont in to sing for us. 🎤
When Jane's in the home she's always great at getting our residents involved and certainly when she sings some of her classic songs like this one! 🎶🎵
What you may like to know is that Jane is a familiar face on the live music stage, she has always captivated crowds with her one-of-a-kind voice and classic on stage charisma.

Jane has shared the stage with countless notable performers and she is known as one of the leading solo artists in the world of Cabaret..👯‍♂️..so we are so lucky to have her perform for us all here at Weybridge.

We always look forward to seeing Jane 😊

What a lovely treat having our vicar Revd Mark from St Mary’s Outlands Church join our flower arranging this morning. His first time & we all agreed he did a great job. I’m sure his wife will be thrilled when he returns home with flowers

✨ Because our residents deserve the very best ✨
We’re delighted to share that our next phase of home enhancements is officially underway — with our dining room now being beautifully refurbished!
Mealtimes are currently taking place in our stunning Bistro space, which has gone down exceptionally well with both residents and team alike.
This exciting project has been carefully planned to ensure minimal disruption, and day-to-day life at the home continues as usual, filled with good food, great company and the highest standard of care.
We can’t wait to unveil the final results soon.

So end of last week some of our resident took a trip to Brookland's Museum.
The reason this happened was one of our respite stays was a lover of cars, in particular Formula 1....so we thought a trip down the road needed to happen with Brookland's being on our door step !

What ever we can do to make our residents happy, if there is somewhere they would like to go, we will go out of our way to make things happen.
When this resident came back from this trip he told us he loved it....so one very happy respite resident!

As you can see they had a great time, it's not every day you get to go in or stand next to a Concord! 😁

This Wednesday we had our fabulous annual "Signature Surrey Care Event" at the beautiful Clandon Wood.
We had an amazing turnout with 77 care businesses booked in. One of the main reasons to do this a part from bringing the care sector all together was to raise money for our charity BRACE Alzheimer's Research and I'm delighted to say we raised £1015.63.
It was a total joy to deliver this news to Liberty who we work very closely with.
Liberty explained this amount of money was an incredible achievement and that a small charity like theirs with this kind of money can do a lot...such as fund 61 hours of phd research, help scientists to find new treatments, understand Dementia better and train the next generation of Dementia Researchers.
