I am delighted to announce that I am finally teaching CORE I in September 2025 in Pyrford, Woking.
This 2 day course will teach you the first session of CORE work and I promise you, will change the way you work with clients forever.

Not quite the same, perhaps, but we will still have a brilliant day exploring the fascia of the lower legs and feet and probably a few giggles along the way. As Noah always says....

2 years ago this gorgeous lady had keyhole surgery to remove endometriosis from her diaphragm. If that isn't bad enough there are no less than 4 laparoscopy scars across her ribs towards her right breast. The scars struggled to heal so she had a pretty rough time of it.
She has been left with a tight "wet" feeling in her right side and has had to stop crochet as it's just too uncomfortable to move her arm for her craft.
On palpation the whole area felt tight, sticky and just plain wrong. Her last were literally stuck to her ribs but with some gentle careful scarwork the area started to soften and let go.
60 minutes later she can already feel a huge difference. Next time those lap scars are going to get some love.

This is an ACL reconstruction scar done in August. As you can see the larger distal scar appears to be actually stuck to the bone as there is adipose tissue missing from underneath the incision. The knee feels tight and stiff which really isn't surprising.
The after picture is after 1 session and whilst there doesn't seem to be a great deal of change to the scar itself the area around is plumper and more bouncy.
The client said the knee felt looser and less tight which is a win as far as I'm concerned and she will be back for more treatment.
The great thing about scarwork is that you can give the clients techniques and things to do at home. Every little helps.

This client has recurring neck pain......do you think this scar might have anything to do with it?
It was certainly pulling up into the shoulder which in turn will get into upper traps and so the neck.
Did this ladies physio mention the scar? Nope. Was she getting any better? Nope.
What happened after I did a little work in that tricep and into the rotator cuffs?
Upper traps softened and eased and she felt some relief when she got off the table.
Never underestimate the power of an old scar. They can be the root of a lot of your discomfort.

Tried out some of my new techniques from the course at the weekend on the delightful this morning.
Marathon legs always need some love and these are no exception but after a few of the new techniques on the most stubborn places she should be feeling much better.
And, by the way......that pelvis was not that level before the treatment.
