About last night…..

Our usual Thursday evening yin yoga class was soooo deliciously slow and snoozy last night. I was quite bleary eyed when we finished 🥰

Yin yoga is a slow and considered practice where we settle into shapes for time and soften, using props to support when needed.

Come and join us. Thursday evenings at 6:30pm or you can have a taste of yin on Friday mornings at 10am in my slow & flow class where we combine the stillness of yin yoga with the movement of flow yoga.

Tune in to BBC Radio Solent on Tuesday morning, 28th April at around 8:15/8:30 when I'll be taking part in Steve Harris' Lie Detective on the Dorset Breakfast Show. I'll be proposing a few white lies and one truth about our glorious Park Yoga in Lodmoor.

And then I'll see you all IRL on Sunday 3 May at 9:30am for our first Park Yoga of the year in Lodmoor. Remember....

***Yoga for Strength***

Join me for a strengthening yoga practice to really fire up your strength and stability. Using resistance bands and light weights, these weekly classes draw on sports science to help you build strength and stamina and improve joint health.

We’ll explore the use of resistance to help increase bone density, especially important as we age.

These sessions are already really popular and I am going a second class from 12 May.

A recent testimonial for one of my massage therapy sessions. This was for my Brazilian manual lymphatic (or wood therapy/maderotherapy).

This is what I offer:

🪷 Swedish massage - long sweeping movements, relaxing and great for increased mobility and blood flow

🪷 Deep tissue massage - deeper work to target knots and adhesions. Not as relaxing but very effective

🪷 Chinese fire cupping - using glass jars to create vacuum and release deep seated tension in a gentle and very efficient way

🪷 Thai massage - done fully clothed, Thai massage has a sneaky way of helping to release tension from the body

🪷 Detox massage - working on areas of the body to target digestive and detoxifying organs and systems

🪷 Brazilian MLD/maderotherapy - this can be either slow and gentle to emphasise lymphatic action or more vigorous to give a contouring effect. Using wooden tools which are beautifully soft on the body

🪷 Pregnancy massage - done side lying, a soothing massage for you and your bump

🪷 Indian head massage - working into the neck and scalp, this a great approach to work on restricted movement in the neck and to help you to deal with recurrent headaches. My neck and scalp work is pretty epic 😉

🪷 Natural facelift massage - using acupressure points, lifting and smoothing movements to soften lines and give the face a collagen boost. An especially great treatment to have before an event

🪷 Thai foot massage - working the whole expanse of the feet and the lower legs this is an energising way to increase blood flow and soothe tired legs and feet

🪷 Reiki - lovely to have on its own or combine with massage, Reiki is a gentle healing modality to naturally increase your energy and shake off negativity

I am also offering red light therapy which can be incorporated into any of your sessions to give deeper healing and increase collagen production and ATP (energy release in the cells).

And you can experience a wonderful combination of therapies in my glorious 90 minute Suoer Sessions. There are 11 to choose from!
