I’d like everyone to meet Adela. Adela returned to Agincourt at the beginning of March 2025 on a secondment as deputy manager.
Many team members and loved ones of our residents welcomed the news of her return with smiles and excitement. Since the day she returned, she has gone from strength to strength, learning and growing into her role each day. After 3 months of working in her seconded role, she was given a contract to make the position permanent and we could not be happier!
During the month of May, Adela was voted as the employee of the month for Agincourt by a colleague in our head office following some wonderful feedback from a relative who’s loved one had only been in the home a matter of hours. A quote from the nomination read: ‘the relative was full of praise for the team, but particularly wanted to recognise Adela’s compassion, professionalism, and the positive impact she had on his mum within hours of her arrival. Well done to everyone involved—and a heartfelt thank you to Adela for going above and beyond.’
Not only was Adela a worthy winner of the employee of the month award for the home but she went on to win the employee of the month award across all of the care homes within the business. Well done Adela! We thank you for your unwavering commitment to the home, our residents, relatives and our team! Your hard work and support to all of us does not go unnoticed.
