Few items are ordered internationally due to lack of availability in England and my limited growing space even though they are native, English plants. 'My English Herbs' is what happened when I fell in love with my small, English, sea-side garden during a Global pandemic. A 'tidy up the garden' project taken to the nth degree �
I gave it some care and attention, did some research, sowed some seed
s and then some more seeds. Bought a book or two, learned that I loved the topic and found myself entirely swept away and rewarded with a joy that I never expected. Through further study I learned that these plants could be used to help people
and allow them to excercise some self sufficiency. So it was, during my pursuit to cling to and seek more sanity that I fell in love, sowing seeds, tending plants, feeding them, harvesting, drying them and turning them into beautiful, natural products. The original product line was born to address personal difficutlies I was experiencing in dealing with the crap that life can fling. Perhaps you can relate?
- Feelings of anxiety and loss of control, feeling "racey" of thought and deed.
- Feeling nauseated first thing in the morning. I've never been a breakfast person and fasting for 24 hours is not unusual by my recent nature but, waking up can turn my stomach.
- A wish to respond to lifes cuts, grazes, burns, stings, spots, skin-flare-ups etc without keeping a cupboard full of chemicals and plastic.
- A desire to live more sustainably myself and help make it easier for others to achieve too. Many a month did follow so with hands in dirt and head in book or brain on T'internet. (I continue to enjoy the balance all these things bring to my life during further learning, growing and producing. I find the variety oddly stabilising �
