Today is World Mental Health Day💚 an incredibly important day to raise awareness about Mental Health and Wellbeing, and support organisations and individuals working hard to protect and improve mental health services.

As Reiki Professionals, we have the privilege of supporting the wellbeing of our clients on all levels, mind, body and spirit. Reiki is one of the simplest and safest holistic healing techniques today and is becoming an increasingly popular way to naturally heal, relieve pain, reduce stress and anxiety and provide extraordinary relaxation.

Today we would like to thank our extraordinary RHA Members for the healing work they do to help their clients with Reiki and other holistic therapies💚 We see you and are incredibly honoured to support you as you transform lives ✨

Make time to check in with yourself, your friends, family, and clients this week. Remember that mental health is a journey, and it's okay to seek help and support when needed. World Mental Health Day serves as a reminder that mental health is a global concern, and together, we can work towards a world where mental well-being is a priority for all 💚

I do love a crystal. Did you know that they can actually amplify Reiki energy and assist on it's mission to go exactly where it's needed on the recipient. They can therefore be extremely helpful in unblocking stubborn energy caught in the chakras.

Since I've been practicing Reiki on my regular clients in my own environment (where I have a little collection of crystals that seems to keep growing 🤭) I've noticed stronger reactions, different sensations from clients not previously felt and had several reminders why I started this little sideline in the first place.

What am I doing in my head when you have your Reiki sessions?

Drawing these symbols mostly. Along with using visualisation techniques and setting intention for Reiki to flow where it's needed... 💜

From left to right:

- Cho Ku Rei (basically a quick boost of energy that will always go where it's needed. Like a 'power up'. Handy for opening and closing a session)

- Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen (the symbol used to send distance Reiki. Thankfully I can look at it and copy it during a distance session. Imagine trying to remember that lot with a perimenopausal brain 😆)

- Sei Hei Ki (the symbol that supports emotional and mental wellbeing)

There is a fourth symbol which is the Master symbol, for use if you're attuned to that level. I'm still deciding if I'd like to teach Reiki in later life. Perhaps I'll be using that fourth symbol someday.

Happy Friday, everyone!

Just a quick note to say thank you to all that have been supportive of my decision to move my Reiki sessions to home as of August. I'm really looking forward to creating another peaceful and tranquil place where you can relax before, during and after your Reiki sessions. My treatment couch is on order and should be here very shortly!

I've actually had an accidental hiatus from Reiki for a couple of weeks, which I must admit I've really enjoyed. I love Reiki so much but a break to recharge is never a bad thing in my opinion! This week I booked annual leave and treated myself to an afternoon tea river cruise in Oxford to celebrate an upcoming BIG birthday. I've also been enjoying quality time with my family in the sunshine. I only ever wanted a simple quiet life 😆

I hope you've all had a chance to enjoy the sunshine and blue skies!

USING REIKI TO COMPLIMENT PHYSICAL & MENTAL HEALTH -

Reiki is a powerful energy but it should never claim to be a 'cure' for any physical or mental health condition. Instead, it serves to compliment / aid recovery / restore some balance whilst gently encouraging the recipient to self-heal and get the best from all treatments whether conventional or complementary.

I'm not typically one to believe in anything unless I have experienced it for myself and I'm not exaggerating when I say that Reiki has changed my life for the better. I, like many others, have and still struggle with conditions that affect my health both mentally and physically. I find a combination of Reiki, meditation, being in nature, switching off from the digital world as much as possible and spending time with loved one's the best ways to get through days that challenge me.

I hope you will find a safe, non-judgemental space to unwind during your Reiki sessions with me or elsewhere. It is only ever meant to encourage positive and gentle restoration.
