If you love a sweet treat but youâre looking for an alternative to refined sugar, these 3 ingredient fudgey brownies are so simple to make and delicious. The kids love them too so thatâs a win win for me!
Fudge Brownies
2â3 ripe bananas
1/3 cup cacao or cocoa powder
1/2 cup nut butter (almond or peanut)
Water (optional)
Walnuts (optional)
Mash the bananas until smooth, stir through the cacao and nut butter, and add a splash of water if needed to loosen. Pour into a lined loaf tin, add some walnuts if using, and bake at 180°C for 15â20 minutes.
Try not to eat it all!
Rich, naturally sweet, and full of goodness. Bananas bring natural sweetness and fibre, nut butter adds healthy fats for sustained energy, and cacao adds that chocolate hit (plus antioxidants).
