We’re delighted to officially welcome our newest (and furriest!) team member — Rupert Saunders, our Trainee Therapy Dog 🐶💙

Rupert is a gorgeous miniature dachshund and has already stolen hearts across Weymouth Manor. From bringing smiles to residents to brightening staff days, he’s settling in beautifully and proving to be a truly pawsome addition to the team.

Already much loved by both his colleagues and the wider Weymouth Manor Community, Rupert is beginning his journey as a therapy dog — and we can’t wait to see all the joy, comfort, and cuddles he’ll bring along the way.

💖🎨 Crafting Up Some Valentine’s Magic at Weymouth Manor! 🎨💖

Our residents had an absolutely heart-warming time getting creative with today’s Valentine’s arts & crafts session! From sparkly decorations to smiley heart characters, the tables were buzzing with colour, laughter, and lots of love. ❤️✨

There was glitter, googly eyes, paintbrushes, and plenty of creativity on show — and we’re so proud of everyone’s beautiful handmade creations! Moments like these remind us that you’re never too old to enjoy a bit of crafting fun.

A huge thank you to our wonderful team for making the day so special — and to our talented residents for filling Weymouth Manor with smiles and Valentine vibes! 💕

What a tweet-tastic time we had making bird feed balls with our wonderful Weymouth Manor community! 💚 From rolling and sprinkling to lots of laughs along the way, everyone got hands-on creating tasty treats for our local birds.

Now we’re eagerly waiting to see who comes by for a snack — robins, sparrows, or maybe even a cheeky squirrel or two! 🐿️😉

A big thank you to everyone who joined in and helped spread a little kindness to nature. Small moments like these make big memories. 🌿💫

🎉 Happy Winnie the Pooh Day from all of us at Weymouth Manor! 🍯✨

Today local childminders joined us for a morning full of stories, giggles, and bear-y special adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood!

From honey-themed crafts to cosy story corners, we spent the day celebrating friendship, imagination, and the simple joys that Pooh Bear reminds us to cherish. 💛

As Winnie the Pooh once said:

“Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.”

…and today our little ones proved that true in every moment. 💕

Thank you to our fantastic childminders for bringing so much warmth, care, and creativity into Weymouth Manor. We think Pooh would agree—you’re some of the best kinds of friends. 🐝🌼
